Actually it was Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell who used their cell phones the same way Clinton used her server (albeit in much smaller quantity, but if it's a crime, it doesn't matter how often. We still arrest people who commit one murder or one robbery). As the FBI stated, this is little more than an administrative error and doesn't rise to being a crime. I'd be willing to bet that there's quite a few in Congress who've done the exact same thing although I'm sure they all cleared their phones out when this all started.

Colin Powell, George W. Bush’s first secretary of state, wrote in his memoir about how outdated technology infrastructure at the State Department led him to install a personal laptop in his office to use a personal email account to “shoo[t] emails to my principal assistants, to individual ambassadors, and increasingly to my foreign-minister colleagues.”

Powell, who served from 2001-2005, apparently did not keep a record of personal emails, unlike Clinton.

Those two (and no doubt many more) is what Comey was referring to when he said: anybody? anybody?


But Powells book has been out for years, either nutsuckers cant read, didnt read it because it wasnt townhall or breitbart, or they are not as they are pretending to be.

I will choose the latter for the win.

I expressed no opinion on the matter. Several people were commenting on it, no one was bothering to provide info, so I did. Cuz I'm helpful like that.

But just for the record,
Yes I do think there is a big difference in the levels of impropriety/carelessness/whatever you want to call it. And I think the article makes that point.

However, I could care less about the whole mess.

That's been explained in factual media. Reality does not have a bias. It just is.

The notion that what Rice & Powell did even remotely compares to what Clinton did is simply ludicrous on the face of it. Honestly, I remain astonished that Democrats can swallow her pack of lies about it.... "convenience"... ROFL. Yeah, I'm certain it very much was convenient to sidestep the FOIA.

How does it not remotely compare? Oh, he had a laptop instead of a blackberry? FOIAs are and have always been fought by administrations. Consider the many battles of Bush and 9/11 against the people and against the investigating committee as an example.

No. He had a laptop. She had a server. It is the difference between client & server... that simple. I'm much more concerned about what was hidden than I am the cavalier attitude about security.

How many emails got deleted? Wasn't it 30k or so?
