Hello,

I took the liberty of scoping your profile, and I think you have a better than normal chance of finding a compatible partner here. I'm not saying it'll be a walk in the park, mind you but given the dross that passes for "Profiles" on the personals side, yours stands out in a good way.

But it would be worth casting your net wider, I'd second the suggestions about looking at sites more focused on traditional relationships (Taken in Hand etc). I would also suggest that christian dating sites would be worth a try. You don't need to be ultra-explicit, but if you make it clear that you value traditional values and roles you might find someone compatible there.

I don't know if you originally posted to the Politics and Religion section or whether your post was moved, but in either case your post might be better placed in another section where the moderation rules would limit the amount of silliness - The P&R section basically a cage fight.

That said, judging by your response to the silliness, I think you'll do just fine.

I didn't see anyone being intolerant, except for the few who proclaim their faith loudly and often on here.

In fairness, any person of faith should be willing to proclaim so. No different than anything else, really.

True enough, however that has nothing to do with my point, which was that the most intolerant people on here are generally the one's who proclaim their Christianity the loudest.

Bullshit, the atheists on this board can be and often are just as intolerant and hateful as the rest. But I totally get why you wouldn't see that.

Define "Real Christian".
"Real Christian" is like "Real Feminist" - a characterisation which changes when convenient.

Oh, sorry, I forgot you can't understand poly-syllabic words. Umm... have a child explain it to you.

Christianity is based on fallacy...all religions are. You wish to get to know a fallacy? or exploit the weak? which is it...to be fair back in those days it was all crucifixions and torture...still is with some religions today

On a more serious note I will meet anyone of any religious affiliation but I will exploit no-one not now, not ever

You can't exploit them - none of them are verified.

Of course they can, which is why I used the word "generally" therefore, no you don't get anything at all.

I was hoping to connect with any real christians who are into BDSM. Perhaps this is not the place for it and if not I apologize but I would be interested in talking with those who are church going fairly regularly and have some kink or swing activities in their life.

So with that in mind...are there any?

Anyone who's going to start by proclaiming only "real" Christians allowed is going to have trouble finding them.

She defines a real christian as simply a christian who regularly attends church. She will have no problem finding those!

I just find it amusing people are reading so much more into this statement, I mean, how do you define the difference between Christians who don't attend church at all and Christians who attend church on a regular basis? She just want to meet and talk to Christians into bdsm who attends church regularly.

I love this though, tempted to put in my profile, "Seeking a man who is not a real christian!"

While the OP asked if there are any real Christians here, they didn't say only real Christians allowed. You could argue it was implied, sure, but they didn't say it.

Why is it that any discussion on religion generally brings out the worst in people? It's like trying to discuss racism. Someone somewhere is going to get butthurt about something whether that was the intention or not.

I do understand the quibble over the word "real" since using real or true tends to set most people's teeth on edge (i.e. real Christian, real dominant, real submissive, real Master, real slave). Real is a word that is becoming associated with my, generally interpreted as "my version" or "my personal definition". While it could be argued that there are people here who claim to be Christian who are not, there are some who attend church claiming the same while not showing it.

To the OP: There are people who do their best to follow the teachings of Christ that don't attend church and there are people that do. Both can be found here. Now whether or not they are people you want to associate with is a decision only you make.

Grammar Nazi here. I'm not sure if I should be more upset over your poor grammar or the lack of punctuation in your sentence.

Probably something you apparently consider irrelevant, like compatible beliefs, observances, traditions and values.
