ORIGINAL: thompsonx ORIGINAL: Nnanji When you helped those people start businesses, how did you explain to them that while they wanted to make a dollar, the government would come in and take 30% of that dollar and they were not allowed to consider that as an operating expense, but rather a gift to the socialist system and they'd just have to accept that and lower their expectations? Maybe you'll explain that to me now? One has to wonder how you got to be so old and stupid at the same time? It takes a special kind of stupid to call taxes a gift to the socialist system. F35s cost about $300 million a copy. The carrier that it lands on a bit more. If it were not for the amerikan military the corporations in amerika would only be doing business domestically. Jesus you are phoquing stupid. To expand on "Taxes" beating up on productive businesses, every urban state on the planet is running about 42% of Gross Domestic Product to maintain the social organization and infrastructure that makes 'commerce', and some semblance of normal life, possible. For the larger states, this includes Defense. States take the money different places. N. European states hit worker salaries hard. And give back handsomely with health benefits and 'social safety net'. The US has an unbelievable number of 'hidden' taxes, some calculations are over 150 taxes on 'bread' by the time you pay for the packaged loaf at your market. Which are Very regressive taxes on the lowest income families. And Nails the middle and upper middle class with explicit taxes, the working classes Having no money left after paying current prices for food, housing and transportation, and the rich paying a small percentage of their rightful proportion as 'campaign contributions' so they get virually zero taxes from legislators dependent on them for political survival. Interestingly, the class paying by far the most formal taxes is also the most emotional about supporting the Republicans, precisely the legislators most involved with taxing them out of existence. All corporations pay 'taxes', other than those more successful at manipulating the local laws to their benefit, which includes many US operating multi-nationals. These don't 'pass on' the taxes entire to consumers, as no marketeer can exceed the competing market much and keep any volume. Where 'collusion' comes in (If not actual back room agreements, quite common) is how most marketing is in relation to 'existing prices', which each seller closely tracks, and Never undercuts more than just enough to be noticed by some buyers. Or, meets the market and spends for advertising attempting to separate their brand from the competitors. Nobody prices by actual costs plus a reasonable margin, unless they are retarded or have a Fail wish, unless that is the actual market price. When 'products' become 'commodities', prices drop to the lowest cost supplier who only charges enough to maintain operational margins, trying to maximize market share and hopefully drive out competitors so they can Raise prices again. But most commodities are Very market driven prices, and far more profitable to speculate in than to produce. Well, that's a good little socialist projection while wearing an aluminum hat. But, but, I thought you said you couldn't answer because I'd made no coherent statement. I guess you were lying when you said that across the board to all butt huts. Now, let's tale Thompson's blow job. The going rate is...say $100 because I don't know what the going rate is. So, in this case the government comes in and places a $10 per transaction tax. Tell me how the butt hut gets into the back room, or is that more of your aluminum hat talking, and comes up with a marketing plan to get Thompson to come in extra times to spend more of his welfare check to cover it. Or, how they decide to get a lower price whores (suppliers) and tell all of the existing whores to just go away. And if they can get lower price whores, why didn't they do that in the first place? Or tell me how they nickel and dime the $10 tax down lower and still take less profit? As a gift to Thompson? Now I grant you they may use the tax to "raise prices again" but, isn't that still just a pass through. Won't some butt hut down the street market to Thompson that they aren't asking $12 to pay the $10 tax? Your comment that all corporations pay taxes is actually true. But tell me how they don't pass that cost of business on to consumers. You've said nothing. My pure just danced and tried to look like three semesters of accountancy, which if you were awake would have explained how silly you are, that addresses what I've said.
