I mean, with that title, it just *must* be bad. Well, it was a gripper for me, nonetheless.

"Army of Darkness"...such a bad, bad movie but has its own cult following now, it is such a riot to watch.

LOL All the evil dead movies were bad, but brilliant. Ash vs the evil dead was funny as a series.
Love love love Bruce Campbell....
Who's laughing NOW (when he cuts off the evil in his hand.)
I think my kids were weaned on his movies...
Didn't someone once call him the " "Laurence Olivier of bad movies,"?
Loved him in Briscoe County and the piratish one....damn what was it...Jack of All Trades.

Bruce is the KING!!!!!!

I don't buy that explanation: I've seen at least as many films that don't work with hilariously crap CGI effects as films that don't work with some poor fool wandering around in a crap costume.

(Is Bert Gummer the survivalist gun nut in the first Tremors?)

He is the survivalist gun nut in ALL the movies. Actually, he is an admitted Paranoid Paramilitary Survivalist Gun Nut Conspiracy Theorist.

Or

Crazed-paranoid-right-winged-redneck-psycho

and it is his house designs that have given me inspiration.

If we're going by the criteria I saw going by, in the scroll, I will have to nominate: "KISS Meets The Phantom of the Park".

The movie was so bad, it was supposed to be a theatrical release, but wound up on television ... so bad that KISS, at the height of their popularity in the 80s (with Gene MAKING MOVIES, in Hollywood) couldn't get their next movie made (it seems like it would have been a good one).

Michael

HAHAHAHAHA!!! I made sure my folks knew I had control of the TV for JUST THE ONE NIGHT!!! so I could watch that. I couldn't watch it all the way through - Was prepared to turn in my Kiss Army Badge for that failing...LOL

omg, I have to see this movie, if only for the cameos!!!

(Alice Cooper is going to be in town soon... saving pennies in hopes that I can save enough to FINALLY see him live. The past 4 times I've tried to see him, shit happened so I never did see the show, dammit..)

Worst movie.........................try sitting through ' Sunday Bloody Sunday'..............Peter Finch and Glenda Jackson. How they ever got conned into showing up for this heap of rubbish, I will never know. It's one of those movies where you keep watching and waiting for something to happen and/or make sense. All these years later, I am still waiting.

Dvr22999874 -> RE: Best worse film ever (8/2/2016 11:32:06 PM)

The best movie..................The Running, jumping and Standing Still Movie', with Spike Milligan. ........................It too made no sense, but with Spike Milligan in it, it's what you expect.

peppermint -> RE: Best worse film ever (8/3/2016 7:27:26 PM)

My best worse movie is the original Gone in 60 Seconds. It had an awful sound track. The acting was horrible. However, it has the best chase scene I have ever seen in a movie. They wrecked 60 some cars during it. Fantastic.

Yes he is. Last time I watched it with a friend, I admit we were a little inebriated at the time, but we both giggled so damn hard through the whole movie. So bad it is so good.

Bruce Campbell was so freakin' hot in that. I will admit that I watched several seasons of "Burn Notice' before I saw Army of Darkness, which made it all the more funny to me. And amazed at how good he looked back then.

One word, two syllables: Showgirls.
Honorable mentions: Lost and Delirious, Thirteen, and Belly.
