Now to stay on subject Obama were a senator for Illinois at the time when al-Zarqawi noted the chaos in Iraq that followed the U.S. invasion there and moved over the organisation from Jordan to Iraq So it was the U.S. invasion that allowed the group to develop into what it is today. Though they're said to be on the retreat and their number of active fighters declining. Not the best source perhaps but one I found in english in a hurry here. =)

A lol edit: Just found another pearl.

Chris Murphy from Connecticut tweeted as a reaction to Trumps hint that his comment had been some kind of joke.
"What I'm looking for is a President who has a good sense of humor about ISIS, assassinations, and Russian cyber warfare,"
