Of course that still does not explain the play-doh. Maybe it was toys for the kids and some liberal focused on it, but still in a situation like that, fuck toys.

While it may seem silly to many folks, to the thousands of children that will be stuck in a shelter till lord knows when, that play-doh will seem like a pot of gold.

I happen to live in Louisiana, and we actually don't "need" any presidential figure stopping in to look at the damage. Heck, the Louisiana Cajun Navy had out classed any and all government officials with their hurry up and wait for permission policies. (look them up, all done out of their own pocket!) However, the fact that Trump took time out of his day, regardless of his intentions, was a wonderful morale boost for the many that are suffering here.

Lastly. a high majority of homes that were lost were NOT in flood zones, unlike New Orleans. Many areas have never flooded ever before.

Well, Trump is on the campaign trail and Obama can't even run again. And it is a red state. Trump is fighting his own party and needs to do shit like this sometimes, when the opportunity pops up. You would think Clinton would be down there with some funds from their "foundation" but she wasn't.

People go down to flood areas to volunteer, Trump just volunteered a little more because he has a little more, and wants the popularity.

I can't figure out much other motivation for him to do that but to gain votes. I am not saying that as a bad thing, what would you do ? What would I do ? About the same thing. You cannot expect these people to be like Jesus Christ. It just ain't in them. (not that I am a Christian but if it is the truth he was a very great Man and prophet) It ain't in me. If I wanted to be President (which I don't really) I would stop at nothing. The opposition won't, so why cripple myself ?

And maybe he owns stock in the company that makes play-doh.

She'd have you guys accusing her of having caused the floods for a PR stunt if she did.

Opinons vary

The link said he took 49 seconds out of his busy day.

If he loses the election, he'll probably try to charge somebody for his time.

I would really like to know what the fuck he is thinking most of the time, he seems so fucking random and foolish most of the time. Yet oddly enough it doesn't seem to matter to his supporters.

Okay, how many of you got a big chuckle watching Donald Trump hand out play doh, in Louisiana?
I loved it.

Surely, leaving out the fact that he brought 70,000 lbs of food and other supplies wasn't intentional, was it?

Good for him!
That should be the headline.
All of the political/influential/and wealthy individuals should do the same.

Sadly, he's the only plutocrat running for election at the moment.

epiphiny: thanks. I'm sure the rightards don't see it quite that way, though.
He may be a plutocrat...a person whose power comes from money...but it could be said that Hillary's money derived from her power.

"Hillary Clinton's net worth is $31.3 million. Our Hillary Clinton net worth number comes from analyzing her 2015 U.S. Public Financial Disclosure Reports. Bill Clinton has an estimated net worth of $80 million. That gives a combined Bill and Hillary Clinton net worth of $111 million dollars."

Did he think people could use his play-do to plug the holes in their homes so the water doesnt come in???? Gee, he is acting very presidential now... (of course his "concern" is simply an act, just another photo-op for him & his scrap book).. I am sure he is also working on his next "book "The Art of Becoming Prez (You just need to be very, very rich & a box of Play-Doh)"..

I wonder where this Play-Doh was manufactured, is it another one that has been outsourced to China with possible contamination from lead or other dangerous crap in it? Regardless, some people dont think kids should be playing with it.. (I have nieces that need to eat a gluten-free diet due to having Celiac disease so for some people it is a real concern)..

5 Reasons to Never Let Your Child Play with Playdough
Our skin absorbs 60% of the chemicals in the products that our skin comes into contact with, and these chemicals go directly to our blood stream. I would like to talk about a few of these ingredients that can be harmful and even dangerous to some.

• Surfactant
Prolonged exposure of skin to surfactant can cause skin chaffing because it disrupts the lipid coating that protects our skin and other cells.

• Borax
Ingestion of Borax can cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, headaches and skin rashes.

• Petroleum
Petroleum impurities are linked to breast cancer. Petroleum and mineral oil may interfere with the body’s moisturizing mechanism leading to dry, chapped skin.

• Artificial colors
Sensitivity to artificial colors can cause skin rashes. Ingestion of artificial colors (such as Blue #1, Blue #2, Citrus Red #2, Green #3, Red #3, Red #40, Yellow #5 and Yellow #6) have been shown to cause: hyperactivity, anxiety, migraines, cancer, kidney tumors (in mice), brain gliomas (in mice), bladder tumors (in mice), testicle tumors (in mice), thyroid cancer, immune system tumors (in mice), and adrenal tumors.

• Flour (gluten)Gluten can cause serious problems in people with Celiac disease and gluten sensitivities. Symptoms could include: stomach upset, asthma-like symptoms, anaphylaxis, rash, localized itching, congestion, itchy eyes and face, abdominal pain, cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, mental confusion or dizziness, weight loss, failure to thrive in young children, depression, irritability, fatigue, chronic constipation, decreased appetite, mouth sores, anemia, seizures and numbing of the hands and feet.

Maybe he thinks people will knock it off with those statues if he palms some of the orange play do to make himself a bigger cock?

It was a photo-op for him (as well as a tax write-off), just like anything he does for "charity".. he doesnt do anything without it benefiting him much more than anyone else.. when he was doing that apprentice thing, it was amazing how stingy his "charity" donations were, considering he is worth 4 billion (isnt that what he claims? or something like that).. Cripes, I would be f'n embarrassed to have been that stingy had I his wealth.. sure, something is better than nothing but there are rich people that are/have pledged to give away half or more of their multi-billions away to charity.. he unfortunately isnt one of them..
