First of all, North Korea has no way to get the nukes here. Second of all, even though there were planned failures like Pearl Harbor and the WTC, they are not going to let a North Korean nuke in here. Know why ? North Korea is not worth taking over because they got nothing we can sell.
I doubt Russia would sell them an ICBM and even Israel probably doesn't have any with enough range. (though they will sell anything to anybody) As far as I know, nobody else has either. Those ICBMs are extremely hard to make, and complex. North Korea just got the idea of fast fission rather than slow fission (like a reactor). The rest is rocket science and that is another subject. They need to send their kids to like German schools or something to gain the skills to build them. Or they could use submarines to get into the range where regular missiles would work. Oops, they don't have any, and even if they did they would be detectable and destroyed by US naval forces before they could launch anything.
In the sense of US defense the main ones to watch are Russia and Israel, and possibly China. We know Russia has the capability and with their arsenal I am sure a few would get in and fuck this place up. Israel has bragged they have enough to take out every capitol in Europe but we do not know if their shit could make it here. Pakistan, well they got the nukes but I am pretty sure they do not have the delivery for them to be any threat to us. Nearby countries yes, but I doubt they would even make it to Israel, plus Israel has the Iron Dome. However that seems to be ineffective against the bottle rockets the Palestinians send them from time to time. Incidentally, whatever happened to that ? I haven't heard of the Palestinians attacking Israel in months, seems like a year. Are they finally all dead ?
But then, leave it to the US government to let it happen so they can justify a war economy. Really, WW2, even with all the debt incurred actually helped the economy. But the idiots do not realize that this will not happen this time because we cannot build anything. We cannot even make rockets to go up and fix our satellites, we buy them from Russia. And China has set up a satellite system and their own GPS, and practiced with a ground based system that can take out satellites. How about you fight a war with no recon when your enemy has it. You have to send planes or drones that can be shot down, they just open up a widow on their computer and have it immediately.
You think you're playing with kids ? The problem is that USians and the government as well underestimates the capabilities of its potential enemies. It is called overconfidence and has caused many a ruin.
