A thumbhole stock? Are you fucking kidding me? Time to buy that SOCOM 16 I've been thinking about lately.

The thumbhole does not, buy itself, make it illegal. The socom16 on the other hand has all of the illegal stuff on it.

A few years ago we had a drought.
Due to this the city gave citations to people who watered their grass.
The base gave citations to people who didn't.

We had a housing area which was under dual juristiction.

No you did not.

The people there would get a citation from the city if they did, and the base if they didn't.

You are full of shit.

Fourtunately the city cops understood their problem so they chose not to pass out citations.

I was based in Montery for a year in the 70's.
At that time I decided that the state needed padded borders.
Nothing they have done since then has made me doubt that.

California is the 10th. largest economy in the world and alabama is on welfare.

The military got so rapped up in things that had nothing to do with the mission that they lost contact with reality.

You retired as an e5. That would be prima facia evidence that your above statement is true.

There is currently a drive on to put the repeal of this and the other 7 equally stupid laws that were passed at the same time on the ballot.

If they have not been successful in 16 years what makes you think they will be now?

I am about a decade and a half older than you but when I was in high school everyone carried a pocket knife and nobody got stabbed for the very reasons you are talking about.

Bullshit!

Not quite news.

But it does show that California stupid is as California stupid does.

I hear tell in one area you get fined if your lawn turns brown and you get fined if you water it. Now there are companies that will come out and paint your lawn.

You wouldn't catch me dead there. If I was a truck driver and was offered a hundred bucks a mile to take a load there I would refuse, and that would be alot of money from here.

Petitions are all over the place. It'll get on the ballot. But, in California, it'll lose.

The good news is that AR's and other similar guns are dirt cheap now and Reno is flooded with people stocking up on magazines and ammo. California is really good to its neighboring states sending them all this business.

The legislation essentially outlaws any centerfire and some rimfire weapons. Ablight at great expense any barrel, magazine, welded/bolted stock can be modified to exceed the requirements outlined. Therefore since it is possible to make the modification, they are all illegal.

Democrats didn't want this or the AG's bill on the ballot because it would get more conservatives to the polls.

Since you live in Ca I took you off hide in the vain hope you would have something relavant to say.
We had a housing area that was not on base. Since the military rented the entire area they had juristiction over the area. Since it wasn't actually on the base so did the city police. I will now return to being blissfully unaware of your rants.

Dude batf ruled a long time ago that any weapon that can be modified to fire full auto is illegal.
You can find a pretty good discssion of this in the american rifleman.
This regulation limits gun owners to muzzel loaders. That is a federal reg and not a california statute.

Oh yes you have me on hide.lol.

Everything I have to say is relevant. That it contradicts your moronic opinions is what burns your ass.

We had a housing area that was not on base.

Just like my drill instructor friend in san diego. They have the same issue. Their base housing is off the base but the military provides all the services both maintainance and security. The city has no jurisdiction over military property that the mililtary does not give them

Since the military rented the entire area they had juristiction over the area. Since it wasn't actually on the base so did the city police.

No they don't and your continual repitition of that ignorance is what singles you out.

But remember nobody wants to take your guns away.
I suppose that everyone knows the PROPONENTS dubbed this package "gunmaggedon".

In the 90s they decided that they hadn't "properly classified" the sks sporter.
Ca. then said that people could keep them, but they had to register them.
A year later they confiscated them.
New York did the same thing.

So you are saying that magazines and barrels can not be extended? That stocks can not be removed and modified? And I wasn't talking about fully automatic weapons. But for your information you can get a permit for them. Lots of requirements but if you meet those requirements you can own and possess fully automatic weapons.

The legislators there are not smart enough to figure any of that shit out. They are liberals and do not look past the surface of anything.

Pretty much before any major massacre or genocide.

How come the Jews didn't have guns in Germany ? Think they never did ?
