Ablight at great expense any barrel, magazine, welded/bolted stock can be modified to exceed the requirements outlined. Therefore since it is possible to make the modification, they are all illegal.

Dude batf ruled a long time ago that any weapon that can be modified to fire full auto is illegal.
You can find a pretty good discssion of this in the american rifleman.
This regulation limits gun owners to muzzel loaders. That is a federal reg and not a california statute.

You pretty much have to qualify for an FFL for that.

Full auto is not all it is cracked up to be. You start really using it you will be wasting 90 % of your ammo and that ain't cheap. Plus you might hit innocents.

Full autos are made for war environments where the randomness of a spray of bullets could be good. Even if you walked into a school with a AK-47 with ten clips you might only kill like twenty people after having expent 500 rounds.

People don't get it. While I would not mind having the Sten back, when would I ever use it ? I only had one clip, though we were talking about getting more. But how many enemies do you want to make ? That clip would have been expended in seconds.

I got a five shooter, old ass .38. Perfectly capable of killing of course. But if more than five people are attacking me I must have really done something wrong.

One of my favorite movie scenes is with Eddie Murphy playing a character called Quick in the movie Harlem Nights. In it, three guys think he killed their brother and whatever and they got him cornered but he had good cover. Three people shooting at him and nobody hit, again and again, two of them with full autos. Finally Quick says "Fuck this", stands up and shoots three shots out of a handgun and kills them all. He shot that good.

But that is a character, though I can see it happening. He waits until they are reloading and the idiots are standing there like standing ducks, and they are not even across the street, with my fucked up eyesight I could pick them off like pigs in a pen. Even me.

That is fiction but I can see it happening in real life. Some people can shoot and others cannot. If you are out to kill someone, forget a full auto. it attracts too much attention. Plus you are more likely to piss alot more people off.

You want to kill someone you got two choices. Learn how to shoot long range and be a sniper, or get up close and just use a handgun. Either way it is hard to get away with no matter how much they had it coming, and if you seek the out, find them and do it you better get away because that is premeditation. Even if they had it coming the government doesn't like that.

The thing you, as do most people, forget, is that Clinton and Gore fought balancing the budget, claiming it would wreck the economy and kill poor people. Then when the Republicans shoved it down his throat he took credit for it.

Not quite, the simplistic nutsuckerism of slash and burn to balance the budget didnt go anywhere and get shoved down no ones throat. What he did do, was increase some taxes and get people to work, so not only was there enhanced revenue from taxation but there was enhanced revenue from employment.

What you forget is that the nutsuckers failed as usual, they shit their pants that they were too fucking stupid, much like the ignorant shit they do today and have always done.

He enacted the 1993 Deficit Reduction Plan without a Single Republican Vote. ???? Shoved down nutsuckers throats.
He negotiated the Balanced Budget Agreement of 1997, shoved down nutsuckers throats, taking it from the realm of stupid nutsuckerism to factual real executable reality.
