I wanted to respond to this thread when I could do so without catching myself in a crying fit. As I post, I am tearing up... Gene Wilder was someone that could make me laugh by just appearing on screen. He didn't have to do anything, but be in the picture and I would have a good laugh because I knew what was about to happen. Throughout his film career, I have followed him, and even when he made a film which bombed (Haunted Honeymoon) and I was literally the only one in the theater laughing, I have admired his work. I lost someone that I admired the day he died. As I hear stories about him that are now just coming out, I cannot help but admire him more... because he was not only an entertainer, but a good person. I cannot go on typing... I will say that he will be missed greatly.
