A) I don't give a shit.

B) People who aren't safe space, identity-politics-obsessed fuckwits are pretty sick of the left thinking it speaks for the majority.

C) Trump's biggest problem is not who he insults, it's his incompetence, lack of integrity and general inability to think seriously about any issue. Put plainly, he is - literally - a fool. He has no trace of wisdom in him and he certainly has no grace.

D) Labeling everything you don't like as "hate speech" is the sign of an incompetent mind.

E) You have no idea who the alt-right is.

Trump can't win, he's the last national gasp of the GOP seeking the while-only vote. Millennials, the largest segment of the US population, are only 50% white -- so today's GOP strategy will be extinct in 8-12 years.

Yep. That's my feeling too: for various reasons, including that of changing demographics, the crank-fruitcake-right - including the alt-right, particularly the Trump-type, isn't going to last for more than a couple of decades.

He's just about electable now, yes - though this is looking less and less likely now. I was really referring to the longer term, though - ten or twenty years. Over that time span ... I don't think anybody knows what to predict. Could be a continued upsurge in support for the non-establishment left, or a reassertion of a sort of centrist consensus (whether or not that's of a neolib nature) - but, for various reasons, I can't see the populist ultra right lasting. Just a hunch. Can't say more than that.
