The circus peanut and his crewe have never lied about anything since he started campaigning.

Personally, when Trump "lies", it's often because he genuinely believe in that specific situation. Not because he was blatantly lying. And Trump does lack some foreign policy knowledge as he is not a politician. He has said some ignorant things. But I guess the difference is, I always like to look at what is the job of this dude running for President. I can't judge them on the same scale as an experience politician.

You know in my country, we have plenty of regular folks, not in politics, contesting for President too. And if I want to judge them on the same calibre as the long time Ministers running for President who has access to inner workings of the political world. It would be extremely unfair.

But alot of these fact checking site are so obviously left bias. Their conclusions always make me roll my eyes.

Bullshit, Greta. In fact, that's shit so assertively fragrant and copious that it may well have been produced by one of the extinct progenitor aurochs, rather than a living bull.
You can tell when the circus peanut is lying because his lips move.

He is a self made man with a gargantuan mountain of debt - whats not to admire greta75Creature has fuk all money I am led to believe he can legally obtain other peoples money and spread his debt about it but it is insatiable.

Its not so much treading water the man is an anvil. And, curiously he can spend some of that other peoples money on assets and ring fence them.

To make money you are required to take other peoples. And that is how the financial markets work. and why there will always be crashes.

Seriously I dont know how he, people like him, have gotten away with that. I wet my pants at the Quaalude scene.

News segment today on Public Radio. Interviews with two 'Branding' experts who think the Trump brand has taken serious hits. In particular, in walk in traffic at most of his 'attractions'. Golf courses, restaurants, hotels. Several are down in twice the percentage as neighboring attractions, in less than a strong market.
Just opened a business that Doesn't use his name out front. . .
The NYC ex-mayor Bloomberg's financial group (As qualified as financial journalists get) estimates Trump is down $900 million since the campaign started. His tactics of converting assets to his other businesses just before burning the other shareholders with a bankruptcy may not work anymore. Besides being illegal, he'd be in court with people who can afford at least as vicious of lawyers as Trump.

Last I looked, all of Bill's peccadilloes were consensual, hardly a predator. That's Trump territory.
Most of what Hillary is guilty of is being the wall the Republicans have been throwing any shit imaginable against since Bill first became POTUS, to see what stuck and got believed. Less ideologically twisted observers estimate HRC has been hurting her income badly by staying in public service, vs what she'd make as a rainmaker at any large NYC law office as a quite accomplished corporate lawyer, being the last highly popular NY Senator, just for starters. Won that last election with 67% of NY voters, who had known her work a bit more closely from her first than most Americans who just believe whatever Faux News says.
Anyone with a brain who looks at what the Clinton Foundation actually does has to wonder what planet the Right is talking about. An extremely highly rated NGO for dollars getting to the work on the street vs overhead and fund raising costs. And seriously changing lives for the better everywhere they work. Which has to stick in a lot of Right Wing craws, real money going to help non-white people.

Yep...Juanita Broderick was all about consensuality. So was Paula Jones....hence the 7 - 800,000 check from Bill.

I can. Because such inexperience while on the job as President of the U.S. can have serious consequences. Its not an on-the-job-training type of position.

Fair does not mean equal. We struggle real hard trying to make children understand that difference.

People running for office in your country are hardly on the same level, in terms of world influence, as President of the U.S. You yourself have defended your interests in this election with the declaration of how much who is elected as President of the U.S. affects the rest of the world.

Except that their conclusions generally include primary sources, which make it possible for anyone to go back and check the facts for themselves. But we have seen where you prefer to ignore original sources when it defies what you call your 'interpretations'.

Depends on your priorities. He wants to spend ALOT, have liquidity and able to roll his money. Not lock 40 mil and make it untouchable until his too old to have fun with it!

And he is able to spend it all and still have surpluses. He did a good job with that 40mil either way.

I think we have differing opinions on what a 'good job' is.

That's like saying Obama was a crap President because he had people telling him what to do to solve whatever problems he want to solve. Most good leaders know how to get the experts to give them the best advice, so they can make the best decision for whatever FUBAR situation.

There's a difference between leading a team and paying people to fix your problems for you, just as there's a difference between self-promotion/real estate empires and liberal democracies.

It still doesn't change the fact that it's common for many rich people to use charity to evade taxes. It's an open secret.

Except not ALL rich people do that, and even if they do, they still get my vote over someone who spends his money on status symbols and rich-people-only clubs, refuses to pay taxes and avoids charity like the plague.

I take responsibility for my own life and my own actions. If I chose to invest in something and it failed. It's my MY OWN bad judgement. If I voted for Trump which I can't anyway, and he did a terrible job, that's my own bad judgement too. Nothing to do with Trump.

So are you one of those 'blame the victim' types who focuses on the woman who got drunk and wandered into the dark alley at night instead of the guy who raped her?

I really do think that's it, in all seriousness. Trump is not a bright man. He's not learned essential things and I think he's got an ingrained habit, acquired long before he stood for election, of 'blagging his way through'. To me, anyway, he's much more of a bullshitter than he is a demon. But that wouldn't make him any less of a menace as POTUS - not at all. He's just fundamentally not up to the job, basically.

Christ. Obama, who allegedly has an IQ of 160, must have spent the last year shaking his head in disbelief at Trump's candidature.

Trump, to me, is the total embodiment of a trend I've noticed for some years: that stupid and childish is the new 'wise' and 'real'.

All those great names, and great forces, of centuries gone by, who helped to create the Enlightenment - the Galileos, the Descartes, the Bacons, the Voltaires, Rousseaus and even the Burkes, must be rolling around in their graves, muttering things like 'Why the fuck did we even bother? The people want Stupid. The people *love* the God of Stupid, and it will ever be thus.'

I mean, in all seriousness - no exaggeration, whatsoever - half the people on *this forum* would make a better POTUS than would Trump. That includes the people here I think to be idiots or unhinged looneys, too.

And of course we're talking about a much larger number of people.

We are talking about a much larger group of people who have guns who havent a clue how to use them in a firefight.
We are talking about a much larger group of people who have guns who think the military and the police will be on their side.
We are talking about a much larger group of people who have guns and are dumber than a stone and ignorant as a stick.
This could be fun.

It's fun already but don't want to see anybody actually hurt.

I'm less concerned by what the Circus Peanut will do should he lose, but more by what those in his basket of deplorables that he's been whipping into a frenzy will do.

Provide an excuse to lock some of them up in the worst case, but after seeing them acting like even bigger pussies than the tiny-handed shitweasel when a special needs kid pulled a gun on him, I find the notion that any of them might have the backbone and balls to cause any trouble rather unconvincing.

This is hilarious. They don't have the backbone and balls to cause trouble BUT...IF THEY DO...it won't be because they've GOT balls and a backbone, it's because they're...after all...deplorable. Way to work it so you can't lose, whoremods.

Well there are those that would suggest and not without evidence, to use a gun on somebody doesn't take backbone or balls...the gun provides it all. To stop somebody from using a gun however...take a lot of both.

Hilarious? Yes, it is.
Kinda like Trump claiming that the election is "rigged."
Way to work it so Trump can't lose even when he does.

I say his nomination was rigged...in the stupidity of today's intellectually challenged right that has surely brought this ensuing debacle on themselves.

You're misreading that: they won't cause any trouble should their candidate lose, because they're spineless eunuchs who may not even dare to whine about it in public. I was reassuring stef that there's an upside if they do somehow screw up the nerve to do anything, but that doesn't alter the fact that they won't because all of the trumptooners are gutless, ball-less, spineless whiners who are all talk.
Clear now, or do I have to put a clip with glove puppets on youtube to help you understand a point so simple a preschooler could grasp it?

They won't riot because only blacks get a pass on riots. Think what will happen if Trump should happen to win. How many mayors will tell the cops to give them room to destroy ?

Who...the rioters or the cops ?

I believe Trump is less dangerous than people think. The GOP won't back his claims of a rigged election - right now they've thrown in the towel and are more concerned with trying to maintain their House and Senate majority.

There is smart, street smart, and then there are empathy and other signs of emotional "intelligence".

You would think a smart man would use his big head to modify what his little head is telling him to say. But with hardly any care for the effect of his words, why make the effort?

Sorry to say, there are Republicans doubling down on his claims. I read two reports like this today, of surrogates being interviewed on TV.

I read a report of a loyal Trump guy in Texas who wrote that he was planning to show up to a polling station armed and "make them nervous".

There are numerous reports of election officials who are already nervous: some fear violence.

The Dems are training and dispatching lawyers to assist with attempts to disenfranchise voters at the polls.

This is what his current tantrum looks like. And we are still three weeks out.

I view it as, he is not going to change himself just to win this election. He wants to win it being himself. It is a tall order. But I like the grit and the true to self stance.
Most politicians are more flexible and diplomatic. But that's what makes them not get anything done. Just going with the flow and playing the game.
Trump is a hardliner who will stick to his stance and push through whatever he wants done.
