BLOCKING IS A SIGN OF IMMATURITY.

Blocking is a sign of not wanting to waste one's time.

There are so many people in this world who are unimportant, in the grand scheme of things. My time is precious. It's the only resource which we can never replenish. It is up to each of us how we spend it.

Not sure where to put this. I was searching profiles for dominant women. I happened on one I like, so I messaged her, briefly but politely, I think after having read her profile thoroughly.

For a response, she sends me a huge list of people she has blocked. No explanation. I was writing back to say, I don't understand why did you send this reply? But I could not send it, because she blocked me!! I think this lady has some issues.

Anyone ever have a similar experience?

I just had to recently block someone. The conversation was polite but the problem was that he viewed my profile (even said he read it), ignored it and still messaged me about meeting. I explained myself and why that would not be possible and while the conversation ended politely, I decided that it was a conversation that I didn't want to go through again and I blocked him.

It's been my personal experience that this guy is going to message me a few months from now. 3/4 of the guys who are on CS don't remember who they message. The other 1/4 do remember and don't care. So I made the decision to ignore him.

So everyone has a reason for blocking someone.

Oh dear, satire is a lost artform.

Perhaps if it had been anyone other than ilovestarbucks, who posts time after time about falling for scams, I would believe that it's satire.

Given the outrageous anger certain men exhibit over being blocked or rejected, I can see some dude doing this; maybe not showing up at their door, but hunting them down off-site to get around the CS block for sure.

It happens.

So, those who want to think it's "satire" should know better.
