Also, how in the world did the two most evil countries, Germany and Japan, end up becoming KINGs of manufacturing of quality products, as well, as become 2 of the most peaceful nations of the world?

Good lord now you're trying to use your own ignorance to prove your points... and subtly hinting at a racist explanation for it all.

African countries are suffering because of the collision of post-colonial society with pastoral tribes. I'm not saying Africa was a land of harmony and peace beforehand, but colonialism did a lot to irreversibly modify their way of life and pit the tribes against one another. On the other hand I have no doubt in my mind that you believe the myth of progress even as you aggressively support a man who wants to reverse it (as least, the positive aspects of it).

The reason societies do not progress is because of prosperity. African societies found a way of life that allowed them to prosper. Industrialized and post-industrial societies are not inherently superior-- in fact, the damage they do to the environment of the planet as a whole actually suggests that as means of ensuring the survival of the human race, they are actually vastly inferior to lifestyles that promote balance with the surrounding ecosystems.

'Progress' is not a product of peace and harmony, it is a product of competition and war. Europe was battered and full of conflict and suffering for hundreds of years, which forced them to innovate... and it climaxed with the downfall of fascism and the invention of nuclear weapons, and progress since then has been motivated by fear and paranoia as opposed to competition and nationalism.

Scandinavian society is doing so well because it has embraced a style of social democracy that Obama failed to begin to bring to America and which the GOP is now going to try to tear down completely.
