ORIGINAL: mrevibo I said it at the time, and nothing I've seen since has changed my mind. Sarah Palin was the most qualified and experienced of the four candidates in that election to be president. Sarah Palin was horribly treated for being a woman. The left attack her for being an irresponsible mother for having a baby so late and a down syndrome baby. And the left attack her for being unable to be a good VP because she has too many kids to take care of. Whereas to me, Sarah Palin is the best role model for a modern woman. Her husband is the house husband. She is the main breadwinner. And yet she is able to have like sooo many children, and achieve so many things in her career, including being a governor. To me, she is amazing! I don't agree with her religious view. But as a woman. To me. This is a woman! A very capable and incredible one. It's not even just a female thing with me. I mean, that should be irrelevant, all else being equal. The very idea that people would vote for Hillary as a female, and just because she was a female, is insulting. If you have a good candidate, put that candidate up. Don't say "ok, we haven't had a black, vote for Obama" or "we haven't had a woman, vote for Hillary" or "we haven't had a felon, vote for Bernie Madoff". Give me someone who would be a good president. Most of all, don't make me vote against the lousy excuse you've come up with for something we haven't had yet.
