Trump is actually a democrat, kinda. He actually switched sides to get to the top, and to his credit, it worked. But he was known in the past to support democrats.
Really, he may have had a real change of heart, seeing that democrats cannot add two plus two. He also isn't one of those religious assholes, not that regular republicans are but they pander to that base. He did not. He did say he is against abortion but I am against abortion even though I think there should be abortomats on every streetcorner. It is a necessary evil, it is murder but until society changed we need to do it.
I think we're going to learn a few things in the next four years. Illegal immigration is not so bad. Let migrant workers in for a few months to do what none of us want to do, like out picking in the crops in 100 degree heat. But let them pay taxes. Actually, lower taxes because they will not be staying. They do not want to stay.
So we only let males in from Mexico which will kill the anchor baby problem and we only let females in from Muslim/Arab countries. (they are NOT the same thing)
Crank up the tax rate on big corporations and if they threaten to leave tell them "Then get the fuck out, you aren't paying anything anyway". I know their employees are but not that much, and with proper tariffs in place it might create a vacuum someone will fill who is willing to pay taxes to the biggest market on the planet, or used to be.
Tell you what, go into electronics and get on the net with others who are. now try to ship a five dollar transistor to another country. There are serious import duties. Meantime they can drop ship me a harddrive from china for four bucks. Try to send a set of output transistors for a Phase Linear 400 to Argentina. There are six of them and they are about five bucks each. That's thirty bucks but Argentina throws on a 50 % duty bringing it up to forty five. Now mind you those transistors were made in China and got shipped to the US for practically nothing.
What's wrong with this picture ? All this free trade bullshit and we still have this ? But it is open season on the US consumer. You buy a three thousand dollar TV and there are no parts available at all from day one. If people start suing places like Bestbuy they will just go out of business and open up under a new name. Or you can put Mattel out of business for the lead based pain a Chinese manufacturer used. Go right ahead, someone else will fill the void and the sae shit will happen again.
To "make America great again" we have to start making things for ourselves. We have to stop this trade imbalance. The numbers lie. for example, food. We import more than half of our food. Well the economists say no, and that is because they are looking at tonnage. (or lying) We export a hell of alot of wheat, try living on wheat. But the real food like fruits and vegetables and some meat we import a hell of alot of it. So think of the dollar value of these imports and exports. Tonnage doesn't mean shit. What's worth more, a pound of beef from Argentina or a pound of wheat from Kansas ?
And then we have something Ross Perot used to say - "You make more money making computer chips than potato chips". The educational system in this country is in a serious state of disrepair. they are fucking with Trump over that Trump university but do they realize how croooked that whole industry has gotten ?
Do a Google for "College conspiracy". I would but colleges are claiming DMCA on it and youtube keeps taking it down because quite frankly they do ot wat ANY legal problems. So if you find it today it could be gone tomorrow but will reappear with a different URL. No college would ever publish a video like that, but they don't have to prove ownership to get youtube to pull it. So it moves around. One thing it does go into is the textbook scam. Like, how come history textbooks need to be rewritten every year ?
And the lower schools, elementary and highschools give us "This Is Are Story". Look folks, hooked On Phonics is for three year olds. When you get to the twelfth grade you should know the difference between They're, There and Their.
I really don't know how much he can actually get done. Even with a congress of the same party, remember that party was against him.
i am very interested in who he would like on the supreme court. Kinda obvious they are not coming for our guns. But there are alot more issues. With the congress he has, he should get on that right away. And that will affect this country for longer than I will be alive.
But the main thing is education, and the teaching of a smart work ethic. Teach these kids how business works and they will know to work at work and not hide. Shit like that gets you fired and if not it kills the company.
Fact is no President can fix all this in eight years. It took five decades to wreck the place and fixing it is not going to happen overnight
