Hmmmm, One of the obstructing justice counts against Nixon had to do with having a secretary erase tapes. Hillary's IT guy erased emails. Dang that sounds like the same type of cake with slightly different icing.

Not to put to fine a point on it but I believe Nixon's attempt to use the FBI and the CIA to help obstruct the investigation would also apply. The firing of Cox could also be construed as OoJ.

Here's an idea. Could always ask Bush I. He's the reigning expert on presidential pardons having pardoned 14 from the Reagan admin. that either were indicted or about to be indicted for Iran/Contra et al.

Cannot escape history, when it comes to presidential pardons, the repubs are the real experts. (pros) That's 'their' legacy.

I see you have no knowledge of American history. How very surprising

Take a look at post #40 and otherwise edumacate me.

Plus when it comes to real crimes committed and felonies considered for or in fact under indictment of and by the very people a president has just worked with and around...you tell me whose done more than repub presidents ?

And let us not forget when assessing the differences here, Bush I could have just as easily been indicted for his part in Iran/Contra but hey, it's ok NOT to indict a repub for real felonies but we must go after a former sec. of state for crimes that may not even be crimes alleged that may or may not have not even been committed before the efffective law even took effect and...were misdemeanors.

They weren't included in the articles of impeachment, and they would have included jay walking if they could have.
