Will Trump be impeached before or after he moves into office - 20th January 2017

Within hours of the Republican's unexpected win over Hillary Clinton, people were calling for him to be impeached over claims of sexual abuse, fraud and racketeering.

I thought the martial law thingy would have been fun. But now I am seeing it your way Impeachment - I found it hard to understand. My initial reading was he could not be impeached for crimes that were public domain - common knowledge before:

America
200 million of 241 million were actually registered to vote = 83%
104 million voted from 241 million = 43%.
Of that 43% just over half voted for trump
Therefore only 23% of the eligible electorate voted from trump

Is the key to this alleged? He was brutally honest about his misogyny, homophobia, hatred of just about all of humanity and johnny foreigners - which is why he married that tidy bint from Slovenia.

I need someone who can explain a few things
1. Which of the houses does it - not that I know he difference between the two the house of lords is useless over here - is all you need to know a tradition that should be discontinued - the true might lies, always has, with parliament
2. If precedings are begun can he step foot in the office or not?
3. The metal of America, well to me, is whether you allow him to step foot in the office or not

For the record I do not normally give a fuk what puppet/stooge you Americans vote for, I simply draw the line at monsters and enablers of monsters...you will find me ever consistent on such matters ;)

Come on man, with a repub house ? They wouldn't impeach Al Capone. If they had found out he didn't pay his taxes, they'd go...'right on brother.' Just as Trump voters didn't give a shit about his tax games.

WhoreMods -> RE: Will Trump be impeached before or after he moves into office (11/11/2016 11:22:55 AM)

Well, look on the bright side: no nominee will ever have to publish their tax details again after this election.

They never had to in the first place.

Evidently.

servantforuse -> RE: Will Trump be impeached before or after he moves into office (11/11/2016 11:37:24 AM)

What impeachable offence did he commit ?

This.
They can't impeach the tiny-handed shitweasel until he's sworn in as President. Prior to that, he'd just be arrested. (Or shot, stabbed, blown up, or beaten to death, obvs.)

I trust you pay more then than what the law requires you to pay?

if you don't, stop whining.

MasterBrentC -> RE: Will Trump be impeached before or after he moves into office (11/11/2016 12:23:42 PM)

It's so much fun to watch the left wing crazies lose their minds after the election. Keep it up, I need the laugh.

WickedsDesire -> RE: Will Trump be impeached before or after he moves into office (11/11/2016 1:38:55 PM)

One must never lose to monster MasterwaffleBrentC are you telling me this creature is not a monster and can you tell me what percentage of the eligible electorate voted for him - 23% - and is that a mandate to govern? and democracy?

I have zero issues with the cretin-stooge-puppet called Pence...i dislike monsters and enablers of them - beyond thy non-splendor

i am led to believe the Russians toasted the mad buffoon - are they not left pea brain?

SlaveR1 -> RE: Will Trump be impeached before or after he moves into office (11/11/2016 1:42:00 PM)

I don't think he will be impeached. In talking with several people who voted for
Trump they would like a do over. There is so much frustration in this country the average person doesn't really know
who to blame and how to vent their frustration. My thoughts are this is going to be a failed
administration. It appears he doesn't have the personal. I am very concerned that America makes it through these next four years.
My last thought is anyone that voted for a third party candidate (unless your related to them) should not make any
comments for the next four years. To me that's saying I could care less what happens.

but they are the egglmacated voters

I am never wrong ever - I concede i flipped between martial law and impeachment. I now favour the latter.
Wether he steps foot in the office before this occurs fascinates me..how far will america take it or let it go.

Are you a hill billy who interbreeds?

Real0ne -> RE: Will Trump be impeached before or after he moves into office (11/11/2016 2:00:34 PM)

Who's whining ? I just state the current state of our oh so glorious capitalist/political culture.

I mean if this country can elect an all-hat-no-cattle, ignorant, red neck from Texas that gets us into two wars royally fucks up the ME and goes through arguably anywhere from $11 to $13 trillion dollars in that and tax cuts (for him and his buddies) and then.....

.....47% of the people can vote for greedy capitalist scum who will throw you and 1000's of others out of work to make million$ while paying less than 1/2 the rate in federal tax that most professionals pay, (a rate he and his clan bought and paid for) call you poor and a taker rather than a maker because of [his actions) with the clear implication...it's all your fault.....

,,,,,and now vote for and actually elect just a 'private' NY version of the same greedy capitalist scum that is actually in many quarters...admired for it.....all and the above, without a single redeeming, so-called Christian value to be seen.....

Tells me the great and glorious America likewise great and greedy, rent-seeking let-then-eat-cake corporate world it is...in the beginning throes of its dying days as to being any kind of country close to what was fought and many died for, as few as 70 years ago.

Its gonna be interesting to watch..

"‘Prediction professor’ who called Trump’s big win also made another forecast: Trump will be impeached
At the end of our September conversation, Lichtman made another call: that if elected, Trump would eventually be impeached by a Republican Congress that would prefer a President Mike Pence — someone whom establishment Republicans know and trust.

“I'm going to make another prediction,” he said. “This one is not based on a system; it's just my gut. They don't want Trump as president, because they can't control him. He's unpredictable. They'd love to have Pence — an absolutely down-the-line, conservative, controllable Republican. And I'm quite certain Trump will give someone grounds for impeachment, either by doing something that endangers national security or because it helps his pocketbook.”

So while Republican voters clearly came home before Nov. 8 — network exit polls show 90 percent of GOP voters cast ballots for Trump — it's less clear that the party leadership is on board. (Lichtman actually isn't the only person to predict a Trump impeachment; this morning, the New York Times's David Brooks suggested that a Trump impeachment or resignation was “probably” in the cards sometime within the next year.)"
