ORIGINAL: Wayward5oul Berne will be 79 years old during the next election cycle. Virtually unelectable. Is there a maximum entry age that I don't know about? Trump is apparently the oldest elected President to date isn't he? And it's funny that McCain had his age used against him so badly. Dems were painting him like he was gonna drop dead any time soon, and the horror Sarah Palin will be President, while nobody used that on Trump. I think it's all about energy they project. And Bernie got the youthful energy. I mean he is practically the old dude who connects most with Millennials. That says alot! Right now, Reagan is the oldest to take office as President, at 69. When Trump is inaugurated, he will take the title. Like it or not, physical age plays a factor, despite physiological age. Bernie has already surpassed the average life span of a male in the US. And Trump's win has indeed inspired more non politicians to consider running for office. So yeah, if you have Bernie standing next to someone like Dewayne Johnson, age becomes a pretty obvious factor.
