ORIGINAL: Edwird I'm sure you do. I like living where I am too. More especially, glad I grew up here. But we can trade regional weather effect jokes if you like. My county being 54% black would likely freak you out, but you could still laugh at us when we shut everything down after counting 88 flakes of snow, just as several cities in the north shut everything down when the temp reaches 88 degrees. I think we had something like 80+ days of high temp above 90 this summer. Two weeks straight of 95+, if I recall. Well i'm a tough girl both ways because i grew up in the NE.. I was 11 years old during the Blizzard of '78 so i remember it well. We had 10 foot drifts in our back yard. I also lived in Vegas for 5 years so i know what it's like to live in 115- 120 degree heat. I felt like i was living in a foreign land there for quite a while. But i actually really enjoyed living out there for a while and i enjoyed the multiculturalism, which i had never been exposed to before. Anyways i'm thankful to be back home and we've certainly had gorgeous weather here this year and the foliage was beautiful. I love this little corner of the world.
