It is said that there is no such things as a bad beer. 3 Horses gives the lie to that saying and anybody who insists on saying it has obviously never drunk the stuff.

Actually making it a requirement for citizenship

Almost all male U.S. citizens and male immigrants, who are 18 through 25, are required to register with Selective Service.

Real0ne -> RE: The "Left." (11/19/2016 9:42:26 PM)

yeh its discriminatory as hell isnt it.

The French regulations say that you can serve 5 years in the Legion and as long as you have taken the name the legion gives you, you can apply for French citizenship.

Actually, if the U.S. instituted a Foreign Legion of it's own, it would give them a ready made fighting force of willing volunteers, who, after five years, if they lived, would become American citizens. If they didn't make the course, they would still get a small plot of land in the U.S. maybe.

I understand that Lone Star (made in TX and Iron City (made in Pittsburgh) are truly awful .

Agreed that is my path to citizenship for illegals.

It already exists (or DID exist) in the U.S. Army. My ex-F-I-L became a citizen of the U.S. by skiing down the mountain and enlisting in the 10th Mountain Div. in Germany.

When I was in, we had at least five different soldiers (I might even be able to remember their names) that chose that path. Not all were from Central or South America.

I guess things may have changed, but I know it (at least) used to be that way.

That's the way I look at it Bama. Nothing but English to be spoken from the time they enter, otherwise they starve and/or are punished. Discipline and training to match the Legion Etrangere. Excellent pay, food and conditions and nobody but foreigners allowed to enlist, ( although I believe that has now been relaxed in the Legion Etrangere) and at the end of 5 years, as long as they have taken an anglo name given to them on enlistment and speak perfect English/American, they can apply for citizenship and/or remain in the legion for up to 25.

Bama, in Australia, we call American beer, 'Screwing on the Beach' and the only one you MIGHT see in bars here is Budweiser, which I wouldn't give to respectmen....................................there again ????? Please don't class Fosters as a typical Aussie beer. Nobody in this country drinks the shit by choice. Last time I saw anybody drinking it is a pub here was during a beer strike and they were shipping anything they could from down south. A reasonable one here is Hahn Premium. Come and join me for a few one day *smile*

I looked and it doesn't seem they make Elephant anymore.
The reviews on it were awful... lol

Dvr22999874 -> RE: The "Left." (11/19/2016 10:07:15 PM)

Bummer tamaka, that was a really good beer. 3 or 4 of those and you were following the little animals up the wallpaper, but it was also a really tasty beer too.

I only have one bad memory of it and that is the fact that I was pissed out of my tiny mind on it when I married my first wife. If I had been sober, I would have been on a ship on it's way down the Thames, heading for South America, about 6 hours previous.

Well... at least you evidently don't hold grudges. : )

Are you kidding?

The vote for Trump was 'the Mother of all temper tantrums' writ large.

This ain't the end, this is only the beginning, of who knows what.

Dvr22999874 -> RE: The "Left." (11/19/2016 10:23:12 PM)

Naaahh, like Dylan said 'she just kinda wasted my precious time' *smile*. South America was still there after the divorce and I just thought of another bad beer from Argentina, brewed or based on onions. Beer in Spanish is called 'cerveza' . This stuff was called 'cervoza'(onions). It left you with a head like a bucket and a mouth like a jar of pickles the next day. It felt like my tongues was asleep and my teeth itched. I don't think it lasted too long. Somebody burned the brewery down and though it wasn't me, I can sympathise with them.

In rarely drink any more, and when I do it is generally something much stronger than beer.

Dvr22999874 -> RE: The "Left." (11/19/2016 10:26:31 PM)

Got some good rum here and saraah has just developed a taste for scotch and ginger wine. Crystal Skull vodka is sitting looking at me now *smile*

tamaka -> RE: The "Left." (11/19/2016 10:29:02 PM)

I'd much rather smoke a joint then drink. I don't mind a Modelo to keep my mouth and throat moist.
