Trump will never be able to get anything done

Even if the GOP cooperates, it's not going to be an easy path.

http://www.wpr.org/can-president-trump-get-things-done-conservative-majority

The system is designed that way for a reason.

The notion that President Trump won't be able to get anything done with a Republican Congress and with the Supreme Court on his side is about on par with all of the rest of musicals' musings. No one has suggested that they will always be in lockstep, they aren't like the left. But they have many common goals, and Harry Reid did them the favor of going nuclear with the Senate rules. A simple majority is all that is needed now

THANKS HARRY!

Playing inside the quote boxes used to be a pretty big thing around here. I guess not so much anymore.

Maybe he's angry with you, Bosco?

Michael

I hope not. Gosh! What did I do?

In my experience? You presented an argument he couldn't refute with facts.

Michael

Actually, he just ignored the points and responded with childishness.

And he had to hide behind two accounts to boot.

[sm=dunno.gif]

"Nun-uh" isn't really a counter-argument.

Neither is: "You need anger classes", when you're faced with an argument you can't counter, but I remember well.

In short: you're not on the side of the angels, here.

Granted. But still doesn't make him Mr. Logic, does it.

First things, first:

Granted.

While not an apology, it is an admission and I wish to acknowledge this. Kudos to you. I mean that, sincerely.

Your point is well taken, but based upon what you've even acknowledged as your previous behavior, that hardly makes you an arbiter of good debate practice, does it?

Michael

Nor you. And as for inSanity, why apologize to your he-cunt?

Boo motherfucking hoo you whiny little bitch. You post in a certain style, you love being offensive with anyone who posts a point you can't refute. When others naturally say fuck you worm, because that's how you act, holds a mirror reflecting your own ugliness back at you, you play the perfect hapless little innocent victim in distress. "WAH!!! POOR ME!!!"

Your favorite thing, you call others "childish" when they treat you exactly the same way you treat them. Look at the post I am replying to here, you are still being as offensive as possible. Nothing about a topic, just offensive rhetoric coupled with your tired cheesy whiny victim card.

What a fucking piece of work. Biggest problem for you, anyone can go back and read your posts. You already admit that you do, it so why don't you just stfu, or go find your safe space and pout you sad little crybaby.

So is this a pretending that if we dodge the topic, GOP leaders aren't at odds with Trump?

No...he knows. Why do you think he's got so many generals?

It isn't so he can teach them all he knows about ISIS?

You know, I'll be curious -- generals often aren't so gung-ho as civilians, since they actually know what war means.

50 G.O.P. Officials Warn Donald Trump Would Put Nation’s Security ‘at Risk’

Fifty of the nation’s most senior Republican national security officials, many of them former top aides or cabinet members for President George W. Bush, have signed a letter declaring that Donald J. Trump “lacks the character, values and experience” to be president and “would put at risk our country’s national security and well-being.”

Mr. Trump, the officials warn, “would be the most reckless president in American history.”

The letter says Mr. Trump would weaken the United States’ moral authority and questions his knowledge of and belief in the Constitution. It says he has “demonstrated repeatedly that he has little understanding” of the nation’s “vital national interests, its complex diplomatic challenges, its indispensable alliances and the democratic values” on which American policy should be based. And it laments that “Mr. Trump has shown no interest in educating himself.”

So what do we do about this now -- pretend it's not there, hope it magically goes away?

Many GOP Senators out-performed Trump in the Election

http://www.rollcall.com/news/politics/senate-republicans-performing-donald-trump-yes-one-exception

We might see a Washington where the president is marginalized.

heavyblinker -> RE: GOP leaders defy Trump, concerned over Russian election influence (12/20/2016 9:18:42 AM)

Has anyone noticed how many news outlets are using the same Trump photo over and over for every story? It's quite a change from the more natural ones where he looks like his incompetent self... the shadows fall perfectly to disguise his lack of a chin, his face isn't carrying a cartoonesque expression and his head is tilted upwards... he actually looks vaguely like a leader.

I can't help but remember his comments about the horrible pictures the media was using and how much he didn't like them... I wonder if he went out and took some professional photos of himself and starting in January he's going to be spending most of his time on getting his look right while Chinese bombs fall from the heavens.

Murdoch feels he owes the cuntbubble a favour for coming across as an even bigger twat on The Apprentice than Alan "scrotumface" Sugar ever managed to.
Think of it as a participation trophy for losing that Emmy he didn't get...

Note I'm on the side of "it won't be easy," not "he can't do anything."

And yes, Reid's change will certainly help the GOP here.
