~FR~

I wonder if we'll ever discuss a topic in a thread, or if we will always devolve into childish taunts.

Germanistan

So tell me, what percentage of the German population is moslem, and how do their numbers compare to the jihadist population in the 'States?

I was curious, so I looked it up.

The US has 3.3 million Muslims (1% of the population);
Germany has 4.3 million Muslims (5.4% of the population).

Articles ... amendments ... not really inter-changeable, in this case.

Just thought I'd help as someone that loves his first AMENDMENT rights.

Michael

Actually, trying to cram your religious beliefs down everyone else's throat like a priest cramming his cock up an altar boy's ass is a violation of their rights.

i would ask for lots of example of that but I trust they would be about as lame as your statement of Leviticus and sharia being bosom buddies, and your whack job interpretations of the bible.

whats more, the most absurd interpretations of the first amendment these days belong to the people who have a visceral hatred for religion in general, and Christianity in particular.

in short, the most egregious "cramming" occurs from your end. no pun intended.

Examples of what? Priests sodomizing altar boys?
People of ALL religions wanting their beliefs to be the law of the land?

Be specific and I will provide.

As for Leviticus and Sharia, maybe you should actually READ both to see the similarities.

Trump isolates himself with CIA attack

http://www.newyorker.com/news/john-cassidy/trump-isolates-himself-with-c-i-a-attack?mbid=social_facebook

Isolates himself - that's pure desperate alt left fantasy. He is the fucking president elect of the United States. The fucking man.

He is unless he pisses off the Republican controlled congress even more.

Which he's entirely capable of doing.

He already can't grasp that he's not entitled to fuck up the world until Jan. 20.

I have predicted that the Republican party will impeach him............................to save the party.

I've been wondering that. Though they're pretty power mad and march in lock step when they can, even when it makes them 2-faced.

You know, Texas has 38 EC votes, and could vote for anyone, throw it to the House, which would pick from those top 3. Texas could pick the next Prez. Not likely -- but gotta appeal to independent Texans!

That German figure is an estimate, and includes asylum seekers and refugees who aren't citizens, I think.

Detailed figures see here

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Germany

Diversity of figures arise from registered vs. self-confessed attendance of believers/secular born-into's. Sunni about 2.5 mio., Alevi about 500 000, Shia about 220 000, Alawite, Ahmadiya, Sufi in the 10 000s, others less than 10 000 each. The percentage of persecuted Muslim minorities is proportionally higher than in many Muslim countries.

Thanks.
Definitely more detailed figures, but also more variable ones: they're saying between 2.1 and 4.3 million in total there.
(As for the high proportion of moslem minorities, that does tie in with the asylum seekers and refugees thing, doesn't it?)

The variations arise from state registration figures (churches - including also Jewish, Muslim, Sikh communities ... get their funding by a state tax in Germany) as opposed to individuals declaring themselves believers of whatever (the lower figure). Some high figures for Muslim and Oriental Christian minorities date back already to the 1960s when German industry recruited many workers from Eastern Anatolia which appealed to many members of religious and/or ethnic minorities there. In consequence with the Syrians came also many minority members from neighbouring northern Syria within the last years.

I can only tell for myself. First to provide some more detailed information.
The other thing is about the rumour appearing here and there that Germany being a Muslim country having no factual basis.

Not that those believing in cheap rumours would care about any facts ...

Won't stop certain idiots from bleating about "Germanistan", of course.

(I do find it intriguing that the German figures are inflated with asylum seekers, refugees and other non citizens, while the American figure makes no mention of resident non-citizens, which is a group that famously staged the biggest act of islamic terrorism in the 'States this century. Odd omission, that, I'd have thought.)

I'm pretty sure that if the people cared about American values, they wouldn't have elected a fascist.

Wild-eyed alt left fanatics (and their cohorts in the media) are always screaming that every Republican is always a fascist, is Hitler, is a racist, is KKK, hates Mexicans, is a bigot, is a sexist, is a homophobe. Hates dogs, hates women, hates clean air. Loves war, is going to start a world war, is a draft dodger, is dumb, is too religious, is uncouth, is gay, is too John Wayne. Will destroy the economy, steals elections, is going to bring back slavery. Is too white, if black is an Uncle Tom, a traitor, hates Mexicans, is controlled by the Jews or communists or whoever. Hates science... (how is that global warming treating you - winters are supposed to be behind us by now).

Funniest part of their hysterical screaming is that a close examination of all of these things issue by issue reveals that the accusations better fits the very alt left fanatics and fake news "journalists" who have been thusly screaming "wolf" for as long as anyone can remember

And it better fits their politicians, too.

Donald Trump will still be violating the Constitution as soon as he’s sworn in

Continuance of the current Trump empire means that it will be rife with opportunities for quid pro quos and other illegalities. Most immediately, if those businesses continue to receive foreign government payments, Trump will be in violation of the emoluments clause of the U.S. Constitution from his first day as president.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/posteverything/wp/2016/12/13/donald-trump-will-still-be-violating-the-constitution-as-soon-as-hes-sworn-in/?utm_term=.27c545d61157

So...given all the concern about legal matters in these threads . . . anyone care about this one?

It's OK if the President does it?
