This isn't about how other countries react. It is about how the U.S. reacts. During the campaign our hero, Trump, huffed and puffed and talked about how tough he would be. Remember what he said about, I think it was Somalis making rude gestures at one of our ships? He said something to the effect that if they had done that while he was president he would just have them blown out of the water. Now the Chinese do something much more significant than making rude gestures and our elected Coward in Chief says to just let them keep it. Yes, he's a fine specimen.
