Texan R-elector has announced he will not vote for Trump. As for any discipline, he will let the chips fall where they may.

Chris Suprun will not vote for Trump on Monday and was on C-Span today.

HERE

On a side note, he joined democrats who asked for material from the CIA on any Russian involvement in the election and they have been refused.

It will take a lot more. Probably wishful thinking.

But I guess we'll see.

There are 20 others who are considering it, according to a Harvard law professor.

But seriously... can you even imagine what would happen if the EC denied Trump the presidency?

I can't really imagine that happening. I mean, I know that this past two years has shown that anything can happen, but at some point there has got to be a limit to where the impossible actually starts.

I'm thinking a tantrum.
They might have to shut down twitter completely for a week or two...

This story is only about 6 months old.. About the time it came out 2 Dem electors announced that if Hillary won they wouldn't vote for her.

I am afraid that the 1st thing that would happen would be that his violent supporters would take their cue the open minded Hillary supporters and riot for a couple of weeks.
The long term effect would be that selection by Congress would become commonplace.

I have to say: I have seen Mr. Suprun interviewed three times, now. I believe he believes that what he's doing is the right thing.

That's where it ends.

1) I know most of the left doesn't care, but the rule of law has to be maintained; no matter what the PPL masters would have the rank-and-file believe.
2) His announcement that he considers himself to be a "moral" elector infers that anyone else that doesn't follow his lead is less than moral. That's the exact fucking smugness that I hope the Dumbocratic party will run with for the next 20 years.

Just like Harry Reid changing the Senate rules to a simple majority for most things? Something that will come along some day and tear out a big chunk of their ass out and smash it against the floor.

Who doesnt think that the right couldnt have gotten a single elector to go against Hillary if roles were reversed. Morons, all of them.

This is just more fake news to keep all of the Hillary snowflakes in full meltdown mode

Fake in the sense that it is newsworthy or substantive. "Hey look everyone - Mount Everest"

As someone else already pointed out above, two Dem electors were on record stating they would switch if Hillary won

That's not what fake means.

but the subject isnt what would happen if hillary won
the subject is trump EC electors.
PS fake doesnt mean newsworthy. Substantive means it has a firm base in reality, so thats not "fake" either.
but we know you love the dross just from your "google fu"
You still need that pop up dictionary dont you.

He wasn't an elector until August, 4 months ago and [it] wasn't 'news' until just recently. Show us the link to the dems claims.

In Texas, elector's votes are not bound by law. They are free to vote for anyone. Mr. Suprun actually thought (privately) about writing in John Kacish before the election.

It was mentioned about two times in the news sites, no way to "prove" it too you. Ok four months old, he stated this well before the election.
