I just looked at them again, and it is striking how things that bad and worse were commonly posted against president Bush

Really? Find a few then. A dozen or so memes, cartoons or parodies will be plenty.

Obama is hardly the first President to be disrespected. Nixon, Carter, Ford, Reagan, & Bush 43 were all disrespected as much, if not more than Obama.

I haven't seen another presented as a witch doctor with a bone through his nose and I've been around for over a half century.

I haven't either but portraying someone as a witch doctor isn't the only way you can disrespect someone so I am not sure what your point is.

You don't find it a bit pathetic that the same people who were behind all that stuff (and the witch doctor photoshops are just the tip of the iceberg here) are now whining that the precedents they've spent the last eight years setting for Presidential abuse might now be leading to their own president getting less respect than they feel that the tiny-handed shitgibbon deserves?

How about going back to 2000 when Dan Rather knowing used badly forged documents (which would have been felonious to share had they been real) to "prove" that Bush didn't show up for Guard duty. This myth staid around for yeas even though it was pure fabrication.

Could some one explain why at the time these documents were allegedly created the machine they were typed on (the IBM typewriter with the ball ) was not invented for over a decade after they were "written". Rather even admitted that they were forged but Rather said it didn't matter because even though the evidence was forged he still (wanted to) believed it.

I have never seen most of those, it wasnt widespread

Including the one you posted on here when you were still Sanity?

I'm sure he saw all of those and more on his daily Stormfront visits.

Smart

Say pretend things because you have no real argument, its almost as good as having half a functioning brain... [:D]

I dont know what stormfront is, and besides in your silly little girl imagination I have never read one

Its not something that needs to be verified. In other words, its a common experience. Most of those images are unique to you losers, YOU found them on the sites YOU frequent

Besides yourselves, no one has seen most of them. Practically all of them

And again. your insanity toward president Trump is right here on collarchat for all of the world to see. Your death threats, your using names like retard and faggot etc. Trying to use his skin color as an attack

You freaks are just nuts. Psychotic, deranged, lost little weasels

Not anything I have to prove or disprove

I have no clue if stef is right and you found them on stormfront or some other site, but you claimed "I have never seen most of those, it wasnt widespread" and that has to be bullshit since you posted them here. Unless of course you can explain how you are posting things you have never seen before.

then it wasn't the selectric that was used, but Rather still admitted that they were forged and that whatever was used to type them hadn't been invented yet when it supposedly happened. This is still a myth that the left insists on even today. And you still hide from the fact that releasing this to the public was a criminal act.

a great irony:

"Dan Rather To Teach Journalism Course Called ‘Finding The Truth In The News’"

quote:

Former CBS News anchor and host for 60 Minutes Dan Rather is heading into the classroom to teach a journalism course at UDemy, an online education platform. The course will be called “finding the truth in the news” (via Joe Concha/The Hill):

quote:

Former CBS News anchor Dan Rather has been tapped to teach an online journalism course called “Finding the truth in the news.”

The course is being offered by the e-learning platform UDemy, which hosts more than 42,000 online courses.

“Whether you’re an avid consumer of the news or just beginning your journalism career, renowned news anchor Dan Rather shares his first-hand experiences to guide you through the 21st century state of journalism,” the course description reads.

“Dan’s rich history and extensive knowledge of journalism, paired with practical, hands-on exercises, creates a unique learning opportunity and rare insight from an American legend.”

It’s a tad ironic since Rather plunged his former network in a scandal regarding the authenticity of memos written by Lt. Col. Jerry B. Killian, former President George W. Bush’s squad commander in the Texas Air National Guard. The contents of these documents reportedly put the president’s service in a negative light, though experts disregarded them as fakes. This segment questioning Bush’s National Guard service aired during the 2004 election. CBS subsequently apologized for using them. Hot Air’s Allahpundit was part of the group of writers that initially questioned the veracity Killian documents.

Via Associated Press c. 2004:

quote:

CBS News apologized Monday for a “mistake in judgment” in its story questioning President Bush’s National Guard service, claiming it was misled by the source of documents that several experts have dismissed as fakes...

It also has become an issue in the presidential campaign. The White House said the affair raises questions about the connections between CBS’s source, retired Texas National Guard officer Bill Burkett, and Democrat John Kerry’s campaign.…

Rather joined CBS News President Andrew Heyward in issuing an apology Monday.

“We made a mistake in judgment, and for that I am sorry,” Rather said. “It was an error that was made, however, in good faith and in the spirit of trying to carry on a CBS News tradition of investigative reporting without fear or favoritism.”

Almost immediately after the story aired Sept. 8, document experts questioned memos purportedly written by Bush’s late squadron leader, Lt. Col. Jerry B. Killian, saying they appeared to have been created on a computer and not on the kind of typewriter in use during the 1970s...

CBS strongly defended its story. It wasn’t until a week later — after Killian’s former secretary said she believed the memos were fake — that the news division admitted they were questionable.

Burkett admitted this weekend to CBS that he lied about obtaining the documents from another former National Guard member, the network said. CBS hasn’t been able to conclusively tell how he got them, or even definitely tell whether they’re fakes or not. But the network has given up trying to defend them.

The fallout was a disaster for CBS, who fired producer Mary Mapes and led to Rather’s retirement and departure from the network entirely soon afterwards.

Bottom line, CBS in general, and Dan Rather in articular, used fake documents in an attempt to turn the election for Gore. Thus we have everything the laft is whinnig about in the 2016 election all rolled up into one case in 2000, which the laft still whines about.

Throw in Ted Kennedy's Soviet Gambit, aka the left appealing to the Soviet Union in 1984 to help throw the election against Reagan - and you have enough hypocrisy to float an entire universe

Really?

Nothing is as bad as putting up a statue of the country's President with a small dick, standing naked in a public space.

None of those pictures beat that.

Because, showing pictures of burning a President alive for example is simply assholes proposing to kill him.

If we did this experiment on a regular black kid, what is worst? A naked picture of him with a small weener going around, or a picture of him being burnt alive for being black?

All mainstream, the relic media and Hollywood etc piling on to Republicans. They would literally like to make political opposition a hate crime, censor all news that is inconvenient to their false narratives any way they can

Musicmystery -> RE: respect the office if not the man (1/9/2017 5:48:50 AM)

Meanwhile, the GOP spent 2000-2006 attempting to institutionalize one party rule. Not exactly bastions of democracy, those folks.

Until in Nov. 2006, America told them to fuck off.

Historically, Americans prefer divided government. The DNC, filled with nothing better than GOP $ envy, handed the GOP a gift this time.

But the GOP shows no signs of learning either, determined instead to run while they can.

McConnell said the only thing ever I've agreed with -- things change, and power shifts hands.

Childish alt left morons really believe it's the GOP's job, to roll over and let the alt left just have half of the power or more

As if they really want Republicans to have substantial power?

Such stupidity.
