Whenever I see news like this. I am glad protesting is illegal in our country. Guess what? That law just saved 6 lives!

It's just inconsiderate blocking an entire expressway. WHATEVER FOR?

There may be plenty of Trump Haters trying to get to work or in a rush to an appointment. They could be causing inconveniences to their own team!

Why block traffic? What's the point?

There is the freaking internet these days to protest all you want. Twitter, Facebook. It's so easy to protest without causing public disturbance.

And you know what? If you stand in an expressway, usually what happens is you might die.

So that happened. They do deserve the darwin award.

Whoever willfully blocks a federal highway without good reason is guilty of a federal felony which is punishable by up to two years incarceration and no more than ten thousand dollar fine. If an emergency vehicle is blocked by said person or persons and a death occurs they are accomplice to first degree murder.

A motorist who strikes or runs over a person engaged in this felony is indemnified and held harmless by the law.

Is this the actual law?
That's a very fair law.
Obstructing expressway traffic is seriously reckless behaviour. Could cause cars to pile up too and crash into each other if they are trying to avoid hitting them.

I don't know what kind of speed limits goes on in that expressway. Imagine if this was the autobahn.

It should be dealt with harshly.

And yes, it is not the car fault if they hit a human standing in the expressway.

UNLESS that person car break down and was waving for help.

But come to think about it. In my own country, many people have died, when car break down and waving for help. I don't think the vehicle who hit them got in trouble too. Not sure. They always report the accident, but they never say if any crimes were committed.

The damn expressway is just a damn dangerous place to be standing in! I am just thinking of my own driving, I don't know what I'd do if a human run infront and I couldn't brake in time! Hope I will never experience it!
