Madonna - Jump (from "Confessions on a Dance Floor")
Missy Elliot - We Run this (from "The Cookbook")
Christina Aguilera - Ain't No Other

I tend to like stuff with a pretty quick beat, and then I listen to Gabrielle Roth and the Mirrors for stretching/yoga at the end.

Black Eyed Peas "Let's Get it Started"
ACDC "Shook Me All Night Long"

Wild Cherry "Play That Funky Music (White Boy)"

Those usually get me started working out!

LOL..pop....I heard the true story was that when they played "Thriller"---you became so excited that YOU did the moonwalk on the treadmill, and even put on a glittery white glove, then grabbed your front and yelled, "Woooooo!!!"! Then, you jumped up, turned in a circle and propped up your leg, showing your white sock and penny loafers! Everyone was  applauding you of course!!
Irish!

Olivia Newton John's "Physical", Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero", and any fast-paced, electonica-laced Madonna track should do the trick.  I listen to metal all the time, so I need to let my other side loose when I work out (which I started lifting a few weeks ago.)

My Ipod is loaded with Godsmack, STP, Staind...groups like that.
I can't stand dance, hip hop or anything along those lines.
I have to have loud strong music when I lift.  Makes the workout go by much quicker.

I always tell them to throw on Queensryche - Jet city woman or Queen of the Ryche - It's great for alternating incline dumbell curls. For the speed bag or heavy bag, it's Ice cube HAR!

I generally prefer quiet when working out, but here's some that might help ya'll.

INXS - Suicide Blonde, Devil Inside, The One Thing
Pat Benetar - Promises In The Dark
Saliva - Click Click Boom
Megadeth - Tornado of Souls

In a more relaxed, yoga type workout:

The Roots - The Seed (2.0)
Rainbow - Snowman
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
Led Zeppelin - The Rain Song
