It's not a valid threat unless you can follow through, and following through will mean America loses its global influence and China picks up the slack. The president of Mexico telling Trump to go fuck himself is not a bluff-- it's a precedent, and other countries are already cautious, and likely to follow Mexico's lead. America is on its way to complete self-destruction and implosion... if Trump keeps pushing people around, America won't have any allies left... and that means China is the new top dog.

Aside from not knowing the difference between democratic socialism and socialism, you really aren't getting what the word TRADE means. How Mexico being our third largest trading partner isn't significant makes no sense. If we decide to fuck Mexico, sure, they will struggle, but we'll feel the pain as well, in higher prices and lost profits/jobs.
