I don't think either one is the other's bitch but i do believe they are two smart men who realize that if they worked together, they probably could do great things for both of our countries.

Like eliminating the global competition so that taxpayer-subsidized American oligarchs can sell overpriced, low quality products to American consumers who can't afford alternatives... but hey, at least a handful of manufacturing jobs won't be replaced by machines for another few years.

There's only so many 'services' America can sell.

The current state of what passes for "climate science" doesn't need the oil industry to undermine it, it's predictions have been doing that for decades.

You forgot to mention that it's a global conspiracy to steal your tax money.

No, I didn't forget to mention that. You just forgot that the shit in your head is your shit.

You can post all of the signs you want-- Trump's relationship with Russia makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and this is a solid explanation.

And you can post all the shit you want, but it will still make sense for the United States to dial down the frothing Russophobia and develop constructive relationships with everyone we can get along with.

Thanks for sharing.

K.

Start with Mexico: they're a lot closer than Russia.

Russia has a lot more to offer than Mexico does. We need 50/50 partnerships.

Oligarchs, whores, hax0r d00ds and mobsters who used to work for the secret police tend not to contribute much to the economy.

Well, Russia's a bit of a trip, and if we're gonna fight with Mexico, maybe we'll have to start being nice to oil rich Venezuela.

Mexico is America's third biggest trading partner.
What exactly does Russia have???

Why exactly are concerns about Russia unfounded?
It seems to me that you just forgot that the shit in your head is your shit.

Dirt on el presidente that he'll do anything to keep quiet(ish), it would seem.
Much more important than mere economic considerations.

Your socialist friends, who Bernie Sanders praised as if they were the second coming of Jesus, have destroyed oil-rich Venezuela

Once one of the most prosperous countries in South America, reduced to rubble

By socialism

Invest there and they seize your investments (gee, I wonder why they collapsed)

Perhaps we should build a pipeline to Canada instead

Don't you think

When Condolezee Rice asked about that under George II she was told to go and shit in her hat, so don't hold your breath over that one.

I didn't say they were unfounded, but there's no smoking-gun evidence. Look at it this way: My concerns about you are definitely well founded, but I'd still prefer it if we could develop a constructive relationship.

Concerns about Russia aren't simply related to the 2016 election.

How many manufacturing jobs do you think ruining trade with Mexico will save?
More than the 5 million jobs that depend on free trade with Mexico?

That's just another of your ridiculous, unsupportable wild-eyed statements. No one is "ruining" trade with Mexico. WE have the upper hand, because they need us far more than we need them but because of weak leaders we have been getting a terrible deal. Now we have a better negotiator in charge who MAY set things right for us.

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/nearly-5-million-us-jobs-depend-on-mexico-2017-01-27

America DOESN'T have the upper hand because even if they do need America more than America needs them, AMERICA STILL NEEDS MEXICO-- A LOT.

Trump is already extremely unpopular-- your 59% approval rating is bullshit... he is currently at 36%.

https://poll.qu.edu/national/release-detail?ReleaseID=2420

He has also angered the CIA, the FBI, most of the House and the Senate, the media, millions and millions of people in the US, more than that all around the world (I'm in Canada and everyone fucking HATES him, mocks him every single day... seriously, it doesn't take long for conversations to turn towards how much of a fuckup Trump is-- even the conservatives think so, with the right-wing former PM recently condemning him publicly).

Even if Trump is stupid enough to keep pushing this inconceivably stupid wall bullshit, the people around him will start spiking his Pepsi with sleeping pills before they let him escalate this tension into a trade war. It's not a valid threat unless you can follow through, and following through will mean America loses its global influence and China picks up the slack.

The president of Mexico telling Trump to go fuck himself is not a bluff-- it's a precedent, and other countries are already cautious, and likely to follow Mexico's lead. America is on its way to complete self-destruction and implosion... if Trump keeps pushing people around, America won't have any allies left... and that means China is the new top dog.

Aside from not knowing the difference between democratic socialism and socialism, you really aren't getting what the word TRADE means.

How Mexico being our third largest trading partner isn't significant makes no sense.

If we decide to fuck Mexico, sure, they will struggle, but we'll feel the pain as well, in higher prices and lost profits/jobs.
