ORIGINAL: Musicmystery A bigger issue is, like all of Trump's proposals, he has no details and no plan. Actually neither did Bernie Sanders, much as I might have liked to see him get in. To shut him up all you had to say was "How you gonna pay for that ?". But like trump MIGHT be, he might be a non-interventionalist. We'll have to see. If the US were to stop trying to police the whole world there would be money for weapons upgrades without increasing the offense budget. (do not call it a defense budget, they don't defend us) But sanders could have taken it a step at a time. However, I think congress would be just as hostile to him as Trump, maybe moreso. But he could have beaten Trump and had the majority of the population on his side. The only people on Trump's side are those who work, and that is few. Don't look at the unemployment rate, look at the employment rate and you see. Even USDEBTCLOCK.ORG indicates how many filed taxes. And of them, how many paid little or nothing, or even got back more than they paid in due to EIC ? Bottom line, Trump's support came from taxpayers. Sanders would have definitely beat him because taxpayers are in the minority. T^T
