What exactly are feminists doing about the problems they are complaining about in their silly march? How is whining about it and holding signs up on the street going to fix problems? Is it going to change Trump's mind? Seriously? It always amazes me how feminists keep imagining that they are doing something about a problem when really they are doing jack shit.

They don't care if they accomplish anything... they just like the drama. Seriously.

Get your fat ass back to the kitchen and bake me some cookies. You don't need a watch, there is a clock on the oven.

The only exceptions when it comes to employment would be to be a sandwich maker at subbies and a maid/nanny. Minimum wage of course.

I haven't worn a watch in 20 years. It's a wonderful thing to not feel so constrained by time.

Madonna is a good mirror for these people to look at and see themselves for what they are really like. They should have arrested her.

Madonna Defends 'Blowing Up the White House' Comment: 'I Am Not a Violent Person'
Good Morning America By JOI-MARIE MCKENZIE 2 hours ago

Madonna defended remarks she made as a surprise guest at the Women's March on Washington, when she said that she "thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House," today. The singer said that her comment was a metaphor and was taken out of context.

The march, which was largely billed as a demonstration in support of women's rights and civil rights, but for many has clear political undertones connected to the inauguration of Donald Trump, drew an estimated 500,000 people to the nations capital.

Madonna, 58, took to Instagram today to defend her comments, which included the lines: "Yes, I'm angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House, but I know that this won't change anything. We cannot fall into despair."

"Yesterday's Rally. was an amazing and beautiful experience. I came and performed 'Express Yourself' and thats exactly what i did," Madonna started in a lengthy caption. "However I want to clarify some very important things.

"I am not a violent person, I do not promote violence and it's important people hear and understand my speech in it's entirety rather than one phrase taken wildly out of context," she continued.

"My speech began with 'I want to start a revolution of love.' I then go on to take this opportunity to encourage women and all marginalized people to not fall into despair but rather to come together and use it as a starting point for unity and to create positive change in the world," she said.

"I spoke in metaphor and I shared two ways of looking at things -- one was to be hopeful, and one was to feel anger and outrage, which I have personally felt," Madonna added. "However, I know that acting out of anger doesn't solve anything. And the only way to change things for the better is to do it with love."

The singer ended her statement with saying that it was "an honor to be part of an audience chanting 'we choose love.'"

Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Trump, called out Madonna for her "profanity-laced" speech Sunday when talking to ABC News' George Stephanopoulos on "This Week."

"You have a very prominent singer who's worth hundreds of millions of dollars not going over to a woman's shelter here in D.C. to write a check, but instead saying that she thought of, quote, 'burning down the White House,'" Conway said.

Yes it is stupid. There was no need for any of it. I don't think it should be called a woman's march when probably at least half of the women in this country don't agree with it. Call it something else... like the drama queen march or something....

That is your opinion:) your opinion is not truth, fact or lie, its an opinion
Obviously those people decided to make a noise, feel differently to you. How do you know what half the country feels? where did you get that figure?
No need for any of it? what makes you say that?

We just saw the drama queen march ....hes pouting like a 12 yr old boy about his penis, i mean crowd size(I mean alternate facts)
Wether you like it or not, the crowd sizes are real, and so is the noise.
Its not going away... just because you and the other ignorati think its stupid

just like trump is president... I think its the dumbest thing america has ever done...
its just my opinion.
Funny thing is, I will admit Im wrong...you wont.

I would look in your mirror...what are you doing about mens problems? posting on a forum...running up to 4 women and yelling at them and running away? how is that going to fix what you claim are mens problems?
how DO you think you are making a difference, when all YOU are doing is typing violence and insults to all the women here?
do you really think you are THAT impressive?

Typical loony right-wing site RM.

What does it matter if she thought about blowing up the white house??
Does it fucking matter? Really??
It's not even newsworthy!!

CNN covered it, and you think that a death threat against the president isn't newsworthy? If Limbaugh had said this about Obama you would want him arrested instantly.

Did you look at his link??

Not only is it a loony right wing site, this is what they reported: “Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I’m outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House, but I know that this won’t change anything,”

It isn't a death threat against the president at all.
She thought about blowing up the white house.
Nothing about killing the president or making any threats about doing it either.

So you are advocating that we arrest everyone who admits any not-so-nice thoughts now??
Should I be arrested for thinking I want to string up my neighbour for his constant nuisance?

ETA: bad thoughts aren't newsworthy.

Sheesh bama.
Talk about extrapolating things to the extreme.

You should be arrested if you give a speech to a mob trying to get them into a mad frenzy about your neighbor and threatening that you dream of blowing up his house. Yes.... absolutely you should.

Obviously, feminists are getting what they want. Because everything they are doing is working. They are taking action to get what they want. And they are getting it.

Thanks to them. I have access to an education. I can vote. I can own property. As near as 1970's, women in the US can't even apply for a credit card. They need to be on their husband's supplementary card account. Today, we women can apply for credit cards. There are so many basic rights that women didn't have not so long ago. So everything they are doing is working and we are seeing results. As the years goes by.

Some feminists have died for these causes, so that future generations, women like me today, can have some basic rights that I wasn't entitled to in the past.

And they will achieve all their goals with time. Although I don't agree with a few of their issues in this Women's March, but this is what call taking action is. They are uniting women world wide to a common cause. That is power. Each individual woman will be inspired to take action in their own countries by this. And little by little, what they want to achieve will become reality.

For you though, UNTIL you start doing something, IN THE REAL WORLD, for your causes for men. NOTHING will ever be achieved on your end. You're just a whiner.

She is anti Trump so she can't do anything that would do or say, I am glad to see you oppose thought crimes now (that is after all what hate crimes are). Have you ever heard of incitement to riot? This would clearly fall under that category.

Society doesn't listen to men like they listen to women.

You do realise the result of society listening to women THESE DAYS are achieved by Feminists.

They did all the difficult work to get society listening to women.

Historically, women don't even get a voice. They don't even get a vote.

Their voices never mattered.

Thanks to Feminists. Today, society cares about what women say.

So I'd say, great job on Feminists part for achieving that.

Can you imagine during the time when women can't even vote or educate themselves? And IF women actually says, "Society only listens to men."

IF that was their attitude, TODAY, society would still listen to only men.

And that is why, as I said, you are all talk and no action. I'd consider all your talk bullshit because you have no serious intentions in going out there to get what you want.

Feminists actually are doing something and achieving results. You are not.

No, a "thought" crime is not a hate crime.

She said she thought a lot about it.
She didn't say she would.
She didn't incite anyone else to go do it either; now that would be a hate crime.
But admitting she thought about it is not a crime and should never be.

respectmen -> RE: Women's March (1/22/2017 9:52:54 PM)

Just a quickly as I'm on my phone and about to start my shift. Can anyone answer and cite what exact accomplishments this march has achieved?

It's fucking laughable how I am being criticed for not doing anything about a problem when feminists keep imagining they are, such as this march, when really it's doing absolutely nothing.

I post on here for the same reason why everyone else post on here. Why should there be any different standard when I post?

To all the people who complain about Trump, stop posting about it here and go out and do something. There, same standards.

Not for just thinking about it, no.
Not even for admitting that you thought about it.

But... if you incited others to go and actually DO it - that's a whole 'nother ball of wax.
And she didn't do that.
