At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, it wouldn't surprise me if the media was actively looking to provoke the exact reaction they've gotten from Trump.

Exactly. The media has succeeded in delegitimizing not only themselves, but also their Democratic party - while putting President Trump over the top. What's amusing is how they are so determined to keep doubling down on what has destroyed them
