Various states now issue ("enhanced") drivers licenses with rfid chips in them (E-Z pass uses rfid too).. imo, eventually all states will do this (it will become mandatory) and you wont have any choice about it.. The govt seems to be more interested in tracking YOU than illegal immigrants.. just sayin'.. [:-]

A national id with certain attributes necessary to travel now, domestically. More mandates are being forced on in years to come if you dont have nationally improved IDs, like within the next 2 years.

im an avid conservative leaning libertarian, and i'll fight tooth and nail to defend that position and to share it, all the while attacking opposing positions where I see they are wrong, or failing, or missing something.

Well, it's a fair point. They fight tooth and nail over abortion, all the while saying the government shouldn't be in our personal business, and then rail against child welfare, health care, aid to the poor, and so forth.

So--honestly, it certainly appears that way: You have every right to be born, but after that, you have to prove you can survive on your own.
