I prefer that liberals move to Sweden or cuba. or at least stop spamming the forum with their chicken little, boy crying wolf, panties in a twist nonsense.

Well, just going by the recent vote you are out numbered by about 3 million voters, so maybe it's you that should move to Russia to get away from them.

There were more people than you think that Obama was the worst thing that could have happened to us, we just behaved far more properly than you or the scum you agree with.
The worst thing that could have happened to us?

What in the world are you talking about?

Obama inherited a US economy that was on the ropes and going down for the count or have you forgotten that and now after 8 years of the "worst" Obama could do the economy is back on it's feet.

The opposition is built up with people like you who hate America.
Is that why you voted for Trump?

Because he said he would "make America Great Again"?

Honestly, not wanting Trump to take us back to where Bush left off does not mean I hate America.

Of course our enemies don't like Trump, he isn't a pushover for them like Obama was or half as corrupt as Hillary would have been.
Enemies?

Since when are Europe, Mexico and Australia our enemies and Russia and Putin our friends?

You are the one who thinks that just because someone lies and pretends that terrorist attacks aren't that means they don't exist and that the world likes us.
You mean like that terrible terrorist attack the Bowling Green massacre?

I thought Trump was the worst of all the people on the Republican side and next to the worst on either side. I voted for him because, as I have said before, Hillary was far worse.
on't suppose you notice that the economy didn't fall apart till the Democrats took both houses of Congress. Check with heavy blinker he claims that Mexico has been planting sleepers here for decades, an he is on you side. France has claimed everything we have done since d-day was wrong. I never said Russia was our friend but by giving him half of our nuclear material. Remember how Obama trashed Romney for saying Russia was a threat? Remember how great Russia was (according to the left) right up till they needed a scapegoat for Hillary losing?

No, I mean like Ft Hood, Orlando, and San Bernardino , the recruiters in Pa. Just to name a few.

I don't believe I said or even intimated that those didn't happen but then I'm not going to pretend that the "Bowling Green massacre" happened either.

I wasn't particularly thrilled with either candidate but I at least thought Hillary was living in the real world and not an imaginary one but it remains to be seen which one was worse in reality.

on't suppose you notice that the economy didn't fall apart till the Democrats took both houses of Congress.

What I remember is that after 8 years of that "morally corrupt" Clinton everybody was talking about what to do with the surplus we had and that after about a month of Bush no one was talking about surplus any more.

Then after almost 8 years of Bush talking about how great the economy was doing, the economy crashed and people were talking about a possible world wide economic collapse.

Then after 8 years of that "America weakening" Obama the economy was recovered or at least no one was talking about a possible world wide economic collapse anymore.

Now Trump is president and we will see if it is boom or bust.

As I have said before, I'm a pragmatist and don't really have a side someone can be on. If an idea works, I don't care where it came from, let's just do it.

France has claimed everything we have done since d-day was wrong.

I think you may be exaggerating a bit here, I'm sure that France has thought one or two things the US has done since d-day was okay with them.

Giving him half of our nuclear material? What?

Russia? Great? If the "leftest" media can be used as a gauge, it seemed to me they rode Putin pretty hard as a laughing stock.

~FR~

So, there's the thread topic:

Are the differences so great that partisans don't want them solved? Will the US (eventually) split up?

How would your state/region fare?

California, New York, and Texas could probably make it as independent countries -- they have strong economies and sea ports, for example.

How would the split go? West Coast, Northeast, Texas, Heartland?

Here's where your state ranks by economy.

And here are the states compared to nations by economy.

Where would you fit?

And would you prefer a divided America?

Btw, the first challenge would be Texas. v. White, declaring all 50 states have to agree to allow a state to leave the union.

I don't know if you are talking to me but I believe I addressed your OP in post 120 (not 119) before beginning to address some of the other things said in this thread.

All the threads become about all the same thing. Let's stay focused in this one, or at least on tangents related to it. Thanks.

Far be it from me to be sullying your pristine thread.
