jlf1961 -> RE: Where were you on 'Bowling Green Massacre' day? (2/4/2017 5:49:23 PM)

Um, well on the brighter side, there are a few things good that came out of this: 1) A local restaurant created a "Bowling Green Massacre" themed pizza and has set sale records with it. 2) It seems that the city has had a dramatic increase in visitors who want to see the site of the 'massacre' 3) the local college has admitted to being a party to repeated massacres.... in their football stadium, and 'fears' Homeland Security investigations and arrests of their key players. The one thing that I find most humorous is the simple fact that during the campaign and after he took office, any reporter who made a mistake was hounded about the mistake by phone or in conservative press interviews, and by Kellyanne Conway. Where as retractions of misquotes and erroneous stories were often done with in a couple of hours, Ms. Conway did not correct her statement until the next day. Where, given a chance and if he would avail himself to experts, both in his cabinet and the white house legal department, Trump could become a good, possibly great president, if this kind of thing and reaction is the norm, I believe the next four years will prove a disaster for the country. And there would be little chance to win re-election.
