ORIGINAL: mnottertail How many of the criminal employers were imprisoned? How many companies were siezed? Fancy me responding to you of all people. But you posed a valid question. First of all, none of the criminal employers obviously were incarcerated. Companies, though now with the rights of an individual, do not pay for crime with time. I am against fining companies usually, preferring to instead make them come up with the culpable party from the board of directors or whatever and let him do the time in the pen. No more fines, it comes form the customers, the employees or that shareholders, the=ose responsible never pay a fucking dime. Seizing the company is not something you want the government to get into the habit of doing, though your shortsightedness might preclude you from understanding that. You give THEM a license to steal at will ? Very stupid. that kind of shit got a bunch of people in Florida years ago divested of all cash in their pockets if they had over $200, ostensibly because it could be drug money. Shit, I used to take more money than that to go grocery shopping. No shit, ten bucks a pound for beef tenderloin and buy two of them, that and a few spuds adds up to $200. And we used to have cookouts and dinner parties all the time. But there eeds to be no charges even filed for them to make it more of a pain in the ass to get your money back than it is worth. So it goes into more surveilence equipment and guns and ammo to take even more from you. Look up the coast guard. those are the folks who take a 50 foot yacht away because they found a joint on it. Fuck you, I will smoke whatever I damn well please. I would fire on them and actually die if they started that shit with me, which is something you and your ilk will never understand. T^T
