Getting back to the substance of this thread, it seems that Fox TV, nominated by Dear Leader Thump as the source of his bewildering pronouncements about Sweden, has run an interview with Nils Bildt, whom they billed as the "Swedish defence and national security advisor". Bildt told Fox what it wanted to hear - that Sweden's 'problems' were a direct result of a refusal to integrate by immigrants. All of which would be fine if only Bildt was actually a "Swedish defence and national security advisor" as advertised. Sadly he is not. Bildt runs a geopolitical consultancy company but has no status with the Swedish Govt and is definitely not a "national security adviser". "But security experts in Sweden said he was not a familiar figure in their ranks in that country. "He is in not in any way a known quantity in Sweden and has never been part of the Swedish debate,” Swedish Defence University leadership professor Robert Egnell said" https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/feb/26/fox-news-nils-bildt-swedish-defence-advisor-unknown-to-countrys-military-officials So in addition to its usual fare of "fake news" Fox has taken to promoting "fake experts" and "fake national security advisors". It seems that for Bounty44 what matters is not who said what, and/or what their qualifications might or might not be, but whether what is said confirms his pre-existing political biases. Even though Bounty44 acknowledges that this person has zero standing, that he has been totally misrepresented by Fox, he still insists that he is worth listening to because his message plays to Bounty's bias and prejudice. The guy is a nobody with zero standing in the debate in Sweden. Which part of that do you fail to understand??? He was chosen precisely because he was going to say what uninformed idiots and bigots like you want to hear, not because he is an expert, or he has appropriate qualifications. You are insisting that this nobody's message is worth listening to solely because it supports your prejudices. The other side of that is that any message that fails to conform to your set of prejudices and opinions isn't worth listening to, that it will be rejected. You are almost demanding that your news be "fake".
