Maybe I'm overreacting to this, but I find this to be very offensive, and basically all of the dommes on there are agreeing and sticking up for her. Since there is a more varied group of people here, I figured I'd get some opinions on this:

Hey, to each his/her own. This person sounds like a Pro, btw, so maybe that has something to do with the braggadacio stuff - maybe not. Re: The name Eva Braun -I do wish people would stop exploiting Hitler ands his girlfriend, though. I don't care how tough she is, she is not going to exterminate, or love someone who exterminates, an entire segment of an innocent population numbering in the millions (and if she/he does, I don't necessaarily want to hear them brag about it). In any case, someone is going to love it - others will hate it, some will just pass it by. But, since I just posted a thread on what I don't necessarily appreciate in Dominants, I guess you can post what you don't like to see in Dommes...!

Eva Braun was hardly very powerful. In fact I rather thought she was a bit submissive but I might be wrong. I'm sure the ethos of Nazi Germany was women obeying their men sexually and in the home.  That apart use of user names which others find offensive like Osama bin L, Bush, Blair etc is hardly rare, often banned and in a free society like the UK (and hopefully the US and others) the important issue is ensuring no censorship however repellant people might find something.

Wellll, it personally does nothing for me from either side. I am not big into role playing at all. However, I can see both sides of the argument.
From the side of those that find it offensive, especially those that have personal ties to the association, I can understand why it would be hideous.
From the side of the kinksters I am looking at it like this. How many times do we see talk about daddydoms, or sub/slaves call their dom daddy? Personally this gives me the ickies because I associate it too closely with incest. However I am not going to bash anyone into this because it is THEIR thing, not mine. It is not intruding on anyone elses life. It is between consenting adults.

So, while it may be repugnant to you.......it is probably someone elses "interesting" little fantasy. As long as it stays between consenting adults its going to be icky to some people but its just really no one elses place to judge. aka...none of my business

Ya know, one thing I've found is no matter wha the issue, SOMEONE will be offended.  How this is the problem of the general public, I don't know, but people always think the rest of the world should care.

WE DON'T.

Just as you getting spanked is offensive to some, that name is offensive to some, the Prodomme aspect is offensive to some, the basic idea of people having sex is offensive to some, and you being offended is offensive to some.  At the end of the day, unless I want something from someone, I don't give a rats ass if I offend, or if someone tries offending me.

Yours,

benji

Gosh, how submissive would one have to have been to be the girlfriend of Adolf Hitler? Actually, now my curiosity is piqued about this. Is it possible that Hitler was a closet submissive, but only to Eva Braun?, and yet - a pathologically sadistic "Dominant" (using the term very loosely, and maybe even misusing it) in the way he acted out hatred toward millions of Jews?

I really kinda want to find out, now that someone mentioned this. Maybe there is something about this on the interenet. In any case, someone was right when they said she could have done more homework on the name. The implication seems to be that, because Hitler could be construed as a sadisitcally deranged Dominant, that Eva was too? That's an illogical stretch (to me), and sounds like a longshot, but maybe...

when you are offended, ignore! I mean you don't like something yet you make it even more popular.  Wanna do something about against something over the internet?  your best tool is to let it be lost in the mass of information.  She pulled the strings, and you were one of her best puppets, dancing all the way to another  website, spreading her visibility and  improving her chances to have actually someone find her little fantasy attractive, thereforre believing she did a good thing.

As benji said, she has tried to gather attention several times. When one thread dries up another is opened. If it offends you...look away.

Yes I saw this.  It has a long way to go to understand WHAT a woman is.

It does disservice to us all.  But there is a market out there and this element will attach Itself to where ever It can to attract what It needs.  Sort of blows the hell out of the "it's all good" mantra.

I agree, don't give It any more attention than It deserves.

Rick --

That's a board of primarily pros and their clients.  I'm certain there are fellows who will pay her good money for her schtick.  What does it matter to you, or for that matter, to us? Why bring that stuff here?

This feels like guerrilla advertising. That very same person was here the other day with spam type posts, was she not?

Don't worry about it-  but gee, thank's for the unsolicited psychoanalysis.  I'm sure you meant well, bless your heart.
