I can't say about Aylee, but in this area there are no YWCA's that I know of, and the YMCA's are considered family institutions. The one nearest me has adult male and female locker rooms upstairs, and youth (18 and below) male and female locker rooms downstairs, and there are family locker areas that are for families. I don't know exactly how the family locker areas are set up, but I do have friends that use it because they have a special needs daughter.

For what it's worth, any cis-gendered female can get out of any "communal" anything. The magic word is "period". EVERY female locker room I have ever been in has had a 'privacy' stall.

Don't be puzzled, they want you to go to a doc so they can make more money. And if it's never given you a problem I wouldn't worry about it.
