Never, ever did I say that Kaepernik didn't have a right to protest. I think I said, here that I found myself in agreement with Ruth Bader-Ginsburg on the issue, but I did go a step further ... I felt just like Slim Fast© ended their relationship with Whoopie, he was bringing "disdain" upon his employers' product and that the 49ers or the NFL had the right to (and should have) brought him back into the tent. The guy had a big enough platform (off the field) where he could have gotten his message out and I am sure the 49er and NFL bean counters have realized that 40% of their down-turn in profits this year were attributed to Kaepernik's behavior (along with a few others).
