ORIGINAL: Nnanji Television broadcasting rights for the season are sold pre-season. Next year those revenues will reflect the viewer loss this year. Actually, because he started doing this (or making noise about it) in the pre-season, the NFL was showing down-turns in their profits by the second game or so. I was one of the people that didn't renew my Sunday Ticket© (in fact, I got rid of DirecTV™ because they are the only ones that carry it and I told them that my non-desire for NFL games was the reason I was cancelling) subscription. Let me explain: The NFL sent me an e-mail about renewing and I told them to shove it and why and then, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that DirecTV™ was a waste because the only reason I tolerated their shitty service (and customer service) was because of the NFL. So, I told them that since I wasn't going to be bothering with the NFL, I wouldn't be bothering with them. I know several people that did the same thing (although they just went to bars to watch their teams). Anyway, early on in the season, the NFL realized subscriptions were down and they did some research and 40% of the people surveyed said it was because of Kaepernik's offensive histrionics. There were other reasons, but that one was (I think) the biggest reason given. I think 29% was because of cost ($320 for the season) and that was the next biggest reason. Michael
