On being threatened, being insulted, and the question of what is an insult or offense:

+ Regarding the threatening tone of the message you recieved, I would report it to collarme administrators. Though these remarks probably do not constitute a criminal threat, reporting it will allow someone to verify the email address and therefore, the IP, of the sender, for future reference, should law enforcement need that information.

Both you and the person sending the message (who may be neither female nor 18) need to know that a third party has such information, so that they also realize that they are not able to hide behind their online anonymity, should they want to harass you in real life.

+ Regarding ill behaviour, online, yes, there are many "big" men and women hiding behind their keyboards, happy to make sniping or smug or offensive remarks, - even threats, - reassured that they won't have to walk their talk, by showing their shameful faces to the people to whom they talk so big.

+ As to the question of whether you have insulted anyone in your profile, MIslostsoul, I must, as a woman, point out to you that you certainly offend me, with such remarks as this quote you have included:

[The following is not my quote, please read this entire message, to clarify - Mme. Marque]

is being born into nothingness.
If it weren't that your body-home

As is usually the case with sexism, if you would like to test whether a statement is really offensive, you must try substituting people of a certain race, creed, or nationality, for the words "female," "girl," and "woman," for it is a sad fact that most people are so desensitized to the persecution of women that they cannot tell an insult to a woman, when they hear or read it.

I wish you well. Hopefully, you will take necessary precautions, then disengage immediately, from interaction with ill influences, such as the one you've mentioned. You may find that the 'bottom-feeders' that pass thru your life, addicted to causing drama, sink to the bottom quickly enough, if they do not find a foothold in your life.

Oh, I fully agree! It's been one of those days at work and I could use cake as well. Do you have a piece to share? I'll find a nice bottle of wine to go with it! In order to pick out the wine, I need to know if it is chocolate or something else (you know, the white/red dilema). Of course I could just bring the brandy and forget the wine.....lol.....really hard day!

Isn't this why god created the ignore button?

Although if I were you I wouldn't even waste energy on clicking ignore. I certainly wouldn't spend effort posting about it all. She doesn't deserve a second thought, lest of all a thread on a forum.

When I found my Master some people on here weren't so nice about it. When I changes my profile to reflect His ownership of me, I received some nasty comments from those I has thought sort of like friends. So I choked it up to jealousy and didn't feed into it. It's sad people have to be that way.

It sounds as if this girl is looking for attention, and nothing more. Hopefully she will leave you alone, but even if she dosen't you may be doing a service to your entire local community by revealing in a respectful, adult way, just how cracked this girl is.

Just ignore them. I get tons of unwanted comments on things I said in the message boards, or things I say in my profile. Just this evening, some idiot was upset about my commenting how hard it was to find someone compatible. He suggested that I relocate and take housework off my hard limits list.

I told him I love living here and I adore my cleaning lady, so his comments were not in the least bit interesting or wanted.

People have no sense, low self esteem and bitterness when they insult others on line.

Well. here is a true first that I just had to share with the class: When I woke up today, I logged on and received an email from a so called Dom on this site, I had never heard from. He said something not very nice to me.

I was quite confused since I had never had any dealings with him. Then I re read his email and he had quoted me on something that I had said to another so called Dom, the one who had written me early in the evening who was upset at something I said in the message boards.

Then it hit me! Dom #2 and Dom#1 are from the same state. Dom #1 had blocked me after I responded to his first insult. Then he ran and showed his little friend, Dom #2 my email response and Dom#2, apparently in complete solidarity, decided that he, too, must write me with a nasty email in defense of Dom#1, who started this whole thing with me.

I am totally amused that two men, older gentlemen both, from the esteemed state of Illinois, would have the time or inclination to participate in such schoolyard shenanigans. I would love to give their names, but of course will not.

Just wanted to share this little ditty in case anymore Doms from the midwest want to write me since both of these guys blocked me after shouting out their insults.

I am curious though: is there a fraternity of Doms in the midwest who send each other emails that they send to women and then band together to hassle a woman who has nothing to do with them and never addressed them to begin with?

All I can say is, wow and wanted to share this nonsense.
