But Trump budget director Mick Mulvaney called the CBO analysis “just absurd.” The analysis, released late Monday afternoon by the Congressional Budget Office, predicts that 24 million fewer people would have coverage a decade from now than if the Affordable Care Act remains intact, nearly doubling the share of Americans who are uninsured from 10 percent to 19 percent. The office projects the number of uninsured people would jump 14 million after the first year But the GOP legislation, which has been speeding through House committees since it was introduced a week ago, would lower the deficit by $337 billion during that time, primarily by lessening spending on Medicaid and government aid for people buying health plans on their own. The report predicted that premiums would be 15 percent to 20 percent higher in the first year compared with those under the Affordable Care Act but 10 percent lower on average after 2026. By and large, older Americans would pay “substantially” more and younger Americans less. The 37-page report provides the most tangible evidence to date of the human and fiscal impact of the House GOP’s American Health Care Act. No, see... you should take Trump seriously, but not literally. When he says that more people are going to be insured, he means 'I don't have a fucking clue what I'm doing, but everything I do is great and you should love me for it'. The good news is that Trump supporters are mostly older, so this way they will die more quickly and then they should lose the next election, if there is one.

Trump's idea of healthcare has always been a different vision of what Republican version of healthcare is. Currently, notice that Republicans just want Obamacare gone and are not happy with this "Obamacare Lite" version. If Republicans have a choice, what they want is not get involve in health care at all or regulate anything. So it will be difficult for him to pull through precisely what he wanted. Currently what the situation is, that the people who can't afford healthcare, will get fine anyway, IF they don't get insurance. So regardless what, they get penalized for it and are force to pay for what they cannot afford. I was reading about this 20+ yr old kid. He was saying, his deductable was 10k. So basically, because he is coughing out every month to pay for Obamacare, he does not have money for basic care. And he does not have money to pay the deductible anyway! And if he doesn't pay this, he gets fine for not paying anyway. So I think in many ways, the new plan makes more sense, so kids like him, can simply choose not to have healthcare, which he would, once there is no longer a fine. I think fining people for not buying healthcare is barbaric really.

For those who can least afford it? With super high deductible at the moment. People are paying for insurance and unable to pay for their medical anyway. If they are struggling with their premiums, you can be sure they cannot afford their deductible. And they would be unable to afford basic care currently IF all their money goes into insurance premiums. So only catastrophic illnesses would they get to touch their insurance, which is not good! Obama care is nothing like Canada system ya know. I believe what Trump wants initially, was to have a few main insurer bid for the whole country. So with competition, keep price low. And negotiate the best benefits for everyone there. But I think, Republican camp will be strongly against this internally. As I said, his own party simply wants, no government interference in healthcare.

So a General Practitioner visit with medicine is only 12 to 15bux. Affordable for the poor. Infact, everytime when our local people here complain about our healthcare being sooo expensive, I always point them to look at US situation. We are paying for insurance about 1/3 of what US people are paying and on top of that, having zero deductibles and 100% coverage and it's a completely cashless system. Hospital bill Insurer directly. So you literally don't have to cough up money. And that insurance premiums is paid from your medical account.

I simply said they don't believe in welfare. They provide a system where people can work hard and make a living and live well. The rest is up to us. Notice if you don't work, then you don't get anything in your medical account. So isn't it incentive to work, IF working means, you get your medical account top up and that is one peace of mind. It's things like this, that motivates people to do something. Same thing with the way welfare, is distributed, which is what we call "workfare". So if you tried working but can't find a job that pays you enough to make a living. Because you bothered to work anyway. We top you up each month. But if you don't work, you get nothing. And seriously, all the jobs that pays low are usually the hardest job, so we know we are rewarding the ones who are trying very hard to help themselves. Like for example, with children, we don't give money to the poor parents. As they might spend it on cigerettes or themselves. We provide their kids with uniforms, school books, and waive their school fees. The necessities. And we give pocket money directly to the kids, NOT THEIR PARENTS, to use at school. We make sure the help goes directly to the one that really needs it. Because we know fuck up parents who can't even afford to take care of their kids will keep stealing money meant for their kids for themselves.

Anyway, my key point is, Obamacare wasn't the holy grail of healthcare. I mean, their solution was to fine people who cannot afford insurance, to force everybody to get insurance. That IS seriously!!! How can anybody be okay with this? This is a livelihood matter. I come from a "fine" country, where we fine people for everything for not flushing toilets and spitting etc. BUT at least, it's not a livelihood issue. People can choose not to spit or actually bother to flush the damn toilets. IF PEOPLE aren't paying for insurance, it's because they cannot afford it. AND YET they still get fined for it?? Come on! The ones suffering are the young graduates, struggling with hefty student loans. BECAUSE they are the young and healthy supporting the older generation, because of pre-existing coverage. Their Premiums become very heavy for them struggling as kids as their Premium increases to support the sick older folks. I think the whole Obamacare system is fucked up! I know Trump's obstacle in coming up with a much better plan is GOP themselves. But either way, one improvement is that, they stop fining people who can't afford getting insured. THAT IS A GOOD START! And the WHOLE problem with Liberal Media is, they don't report this aspect of things. They say poor people now get coverage. BECAUSE poor people get FINED if they don't cough up the money to get coverage! DUH!
