The ceiling on insurance premiums to which >50s are exposed will jump from 3x charged to younger workers under Ocare to 5x. You are prone to be more in need of healthcare but you are too young for Medicare.

If you or a parent needs Medicaid assistance for a nursing home you will be at the mercy of your state government, who will receive a block grant under AHCA. Ocare provides funds directly for Medicaid recipients.

Companies with 50 or more employees will no longer have to provide health insurance for their employees. Trust your management? Appeal to your Union? Oh, wait. You hate unions. You don’t have one anyway. Too bad.

Forget early retirement. If you get downsized and can’t find another job, you will need to seek health insurance at free market prices until age 65.

Well according to some, Obamacare was going to hurt alot of people too. I guess it just depends on whom you want to hurt.

I do hope at some point in time Health Care changes in the US. I`m not banking on much of a change...It appears everyone is close to a medical bankruptcy...just have something major go wrong.

I`ve watched people die because THEY could not afford the premiums of the AHC..so instead of sucking it up and going to a Dr...They let their children bury them. Were they foolish?...yep.

Are you aware that the cost to insure kids is....waaaaay the fuck lower and....that the Republican program has lowered (young folks) premiums by a SIGNIFICANT number....ergo....5X will be equivalent to (possibly lower) than 3X on the ACA?

READ the LEGISLATION.....quit buying what they're selling.

Basically....get informed.

BE informed.
