It's good for him that the present bill isn't being voted on because it had cuts to medicare, social security. etc and one of his campaign promises was to keep his hands off medicare, medicaid and social security. To keep his promise, he would have been forced to veto it had it passed. It's better for him this way. He can blame it on congress.

I'm not really watching the details, but my dad said that they are literally trying to cut people's healthcare worth about $880 billion and cut rich peoples taxes by $886 billion.

A few weeks later it's proven that the hissy fit pity party was all a lie, but hey, they've moved on to something else. A while later the next hissy fit lie is exposed but hey, they're on to something else. After a few of them they start talking about how those bad guys were all telling lies because hey, look at all the hissy fits there were. Hissy fits prove others lie.
