I posted here the compendium of his EOs and so far there is no enumeration of anti-gun EOs. So the illegitimate appeal to falsehoods does not make a base of argument.

The only reason Democrats want smart guns is to legislate the requirement we all buy them. In and of it self, smart guns are fine and dandy but I don't ever want one. Besides that, I'm not arguing Obamas EO's are anti gun. He came up with them in response to not being able to get gun control passed. They were mostly a whole lot of posturing by Obama that we pretty much mostly agree on just to make it seem like he was doing something and gain support for his gun control agenda.

Since it was a while ago the fact has been lost that nobody did anything to push gun control.
The 22 EOs where pure and simple political theater to help fire up the anti gun forces.
And you are correct in that they did not, in themselves, but several were vague and open ended.

Well, if I wasn't deprived of my gun I wouldn't be tryin to kill myself with a fork.

If the person who died was a gun owner the CNN headline would be " gun owner accidently kills himself".
The story would be about his firearm ownership, and the last line would mention that it was a fork accident.

That pretty much sums it up
