Yup, you are a retard.

As of the end of 2015, Montana held nearly one-fourth of the nation's demonstrated coal reserve base and was the sixth-largest coal-producing state. It produced 4.7% of U.S. coal in 2015 and distributed coal to seven other states

Hydroelectric power provided almost one-third of Montana's net electricity generation in 2015 and wind energy provided most of the rest of the state's renewable generation.

Montanans use about half of the electricity generated in the state.90 The rest is sent to other western states by high-voltage transmission lines. Generating more electricity for sale in other states is seen as an economic opportunity for Montana, but current transmission lines are congested, and new capacity must be built to expand sales. Most of Montana is part of the Western Interconnection grid serving western states and Canadian provinces.91 Several transmission projects are being developed to increase capacity to move electricity from both conventional and renewable sources out of Montana to states in the west and southwest.

(from your link)

You are too retarded (and we are not arguing, you have no facts to argue) to understand that in upstate NY, you dont get a fucking milliwatt of electricity from no coal fired plant in Montana.

Nnanji (not wilbur) who lives in upstate NY. LOL, you changed your sock profile again wilbur, back to california, wilbur.

quote:

Oh, and I wasn't talking about stored energy. Down in the basement of every energy company in the U.S. Is a group of people trying to balance their loads. They buy and sell electricity back and forth 24/7. The best source of extra energy is the coal plants. The extra energy mostly used in my area is bought from a coal plant in Montana for instance.

They are not in basements and Montana is one million people. And they dont ship shit to CA in any case it is used up in Oregon. They produce twice the electricity they need. They are just getting into the southwest, and ship and have shipped the electricity west. 11 states and 2 canadian provinces in their grid. You receive no more electricity from them than would spark a lighter.

Pay particular attention to map 3 wilbur. If you dont get it, have someone explain it to you who is slightly less retarded than you are. I can see you do not undertand anything requiring facts or intellect.

You are dismissed, go over in the corner by your felching dish and lay down.

However, as I'm in California and not upstate N.Y., you're full of shit and arguing my point. Now you are dismissed, go do what ever disgusting thing you do.

I knew you were in California Wilbur, giving up even more of your clandestine felching. You are sucking a fucking ocean of Putin Jizz, the transmission line goes to Oregon. It ends in Oregon, there are gas fired plants in Oregon that run to you. Go lay down in your filth and syphilis and rapturously nurse your putinjizz from Tomi the Pedophiles ass.

You fucking retard, Wilbur.

Never was in NY. And mental patient, you never knew anything. You are an ignorant sick man. That was proven and clearly recognized.

When you first made your current sock wilbur, you had upstate NY listed. You are a fucking felchgobbling retard and a hysterical sad sad shiteater. So, NY or CA, traders dont work in basements and you aint getting no coal fired power from Montana.

You are in the running for stupid cocksucker, and looks like you will win by a landslide.

bounty44 has listed an energy chart that shows that renewables are pricewise very competitive with coal fired and oil fired plants (and that doesnt count the pollution cleanup and subsidizing of big coal and oil)

Agreed, the lobby to preserve American Buggy whips and Coal is nearly impenetrable in America. And a great slice of America is misinformed on the facts and issues.

Coal is ok for BBQ though, I think. (Not Bituminous) but Anthracite is ok, and for blacksmithing.

Base model tesla model s start at $62,000.
Look on ebay and craigs list to find fully equipped tesla model s in the 50-60 k range.

Base model is under 40K.

You are full of shit.

I'm fairly confident you've attempted to emphasize that point more than multiple times in the past.

Base Tesla is still, regardless of your opinion about my mental capacity....under 40 grand.

Cite please

The Interweb is your friend.

It is not my job to validate your ignorant statements..

It's interesting that you'd call out me since generally you're the troll that derails threats and specifically because while I was talking about renewables and energy when the mental patient derailed the thread this time. Go talk to your other socks.

You were felchgobbling some asswipe about a coal plant in Montana, via traders in basements delivering electricity to your door.

As usual, you were entirely full of shit, and were not talking about renewables, in fact denigrating them from MusicMysteries post, with some factless lying retarded horseshit, when I stepped in and showed you that you are a retarded fuck, via use of facts and realities, Wilbur.

But I would be glad to talk about renewable energy and its importance to America.

Looks as if you're confused again. Is that too much meds or does that voice just generally have problems.

All true. And it is one scary long bridge. It's cool how the population density there is so high, but it's all forest and narrow two-lane roads, so you mainly see green and trees (and deer).

When I was an undergrad, I went to Manhattan every two weeks for lessons with a guy in the philharmonic. Made a day of it each time. I remember those burgers (I don't eat red meat now) -- so thick, melted cheese everywhere...you had to eat it with a knife and fork. And the beer (don't do that anymore either) was a half pitcher. Loved it.

I don't get to the Albany/Latham area much, but my girl is there every other week, as her team negotiates their contract with the governor's office's team. Long process. She's in love with the Saratoga region (which is nice). I'm more likely to hike a little north of there, and especially the high peaks region -- Keene Valley, Lake Placid, that area. And from there to Old Forge.

But not as far as Rochester. We have a place east of Cayuga Lake, and I have another one between Syracuse and Utica (south of between them, up in the hills, but north of the Catskill region), both way out in the country.

So we're not all that far apart.

And yes, there are things in New York City that just aren't anywhere else.

On one extreme, Lake Colden is dead -- a 41 acre lake with literally not a single fish. All dead.

From there, as you radiate out, depends on how much new water flows in to help wash out or at least dilute the sulfur dioxide.

It's a mountain lake, deep in a mountain pass. There's nowhere for the sulfur dioxide to go.
