Gun violence 2017 to date

It will cost you all less than 20 seconds to read down the left hand column. It will truly horrify and bewilder anyone remotely rational. The figures exclude ~22 000 gun deaths annually by suicide.

What struck me, well all of it....

Was 589 defensive uses from 16 000 incidents = 3%. Reflect on that figure. Then lets choose number of teens killed or injured thusfar this year which is 1000 = 6%...or how about accidental shootings 571 = 3%

So in essence the level of carnage is 97% - higher if you add include suicides (>99%)

Herein lies the problem. If America wants its guns then please use them more responsibly - - see i see that argument which is fair enough. But the thing is you cannot use them in a responsible manner, year after year, decade after decade. Time to take them of you Americanshire infidels.

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: San Bernardino shooting: Boy, 8, and two adults dead (4/12/2017 9:16:15 AM)

The level of tragedy is 100÷ in any loss of life.

Saying gun owner's (all gun owners) can't use them in a responsible manner, defies the reality of the number of gun owners in relation to the number's of deaths by firearm.

Responsible gun owners are as appalled at the tragic deaths from firearms as any individual with an ounce of humanity would be. Maybe more so, because of the time, money and efforts taken to learn the safety measures and aquire the proper locking mechanisms and train to use the weapon in such a way as to hit what you aim at.

Your link shows almost all of the incedences related to firearms happened in densely populated areas, most with high crime rates. It does not, however show a correlation between number of gun owners and number of guns per region.

The irresponsible operation of any potentially lethal object is a criminal act. The deaths resulting in irresponsible use, handling or storage of potentially lethal objects is tragic and the ones responsible should be held accountable.

I'm not proselytizing for or against gun ownershjp nor caring to be a gun owning apologist.

In the case of your original post, I've already expressed my POV. In my personal opinion exploiting the tragic deaths in a domestic violence related incedence, to make a point agInst gun ownership was a bad call on your part.

WickedsDesire -> RE: San Bernardino shooting: Boy, 8, and two adults dead (4/12/2017 9:32:31 AM)

I think when you get to a level known as 95% confidence - it has a few other names let alone 98% or 99% levels, regarding the application - then there may be a bit of a problem.

Your arguments are invalid let me show you - up until the moment they are utilised, always wrongly 99% of the time, they are what you term as responsible owners lets play with that - let ever country chemical weapon up, nuke up - well perhaps not America.

A licensed driver who drives responsibly, up until they get drunk and get behind the wheel is utilizing a dangerous weapon wrongly. It doesn't make all responsible drivers - wrong for owning vehicles.

I'm trying to follow your logic. I get you believe guns are bad and Americans should be stripped of them. That's your POV, and I respect that.

I do, however, dismiss your example as non-representative of the all the facts in context to the whole.

WickedsDesire -> RE: San Bernardino shooting: Boy, 8, and two adults dead (4/12/2017 12:02:47 PM)

400 000-500 000 dead every 10 years and over 1.5 million wounded - not including the psychologically maimed – where a two year old kid splatters its mums brain matter out over the windscreen..

And that is what you define as 2 million responsible gun owners and you screech like some mad fuk slobbering not one of them is representative as the whole

But we await your number how many are the whole? dismiss me or my extrapolation, fair fill me with the mirth - but just add a credible reason to it, a puddle of your stinking urine does not count you disgrace as a human

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: San Bernardino shooting: Boy, 8, and two adults dead (4/12/2017 12:18:57 PM)

And there it is.

WickedsDesire -> RE: San Bernardino shooting: Boy, 8, and two adults dead (4/12/2017 12:26:10 PM)

Whilst you flounder in a pool of your own disgusting vomit.

Tell me when did those 2 million responsible gun owners become non responsible and what gave them away, and why were the guns not taken from them?

WickedsDesire -> RE: San Bernardino shooting: Boy, 8, and two adults dead (4/12/2017 12:56:57 PM)

shut you the fuk up winsomme- not that is particularly hard - cock of steel any women? best we not waste a line

When you are done heaving your guts up I look forward to continuing our pathetic debate – How is your retort of bucket of foul jobbies coming along..I am jobbie resistant myself guffaws dumbfuk. But when you are done crawling to your corner of errant woe and shitting yourself and howling away like the mad cunt that you are. we can face time.... i a handsome loon and you several hours of bukets of complete non magnificent jobbies
