ORIGINAL: DaddySatyr Fifteen and a half years too late, if you ask me (and you didn't). The time to drop this bastard would have been DEC of '01 when that goat-fucker, Bin Laden was hiding in Tora Bora. Michael Yes, but that is like saying we have used F-86s at Pearl, they didn't exist yet. The bomb was designed in 2002 and produced and in service in 2003. So, yep. Didn't exit in 2001 but definitely did shortly thereafter. I'm answering both of you folks in one fell swoop: The penchant (and, probably necessity) our government has for keeping secrets, I believe this thing was developed long before '03 (when we went public with it). As an example: I know we had operational prototype stealth fighters in 1982 which was long before the public found out about them in Desert Storm ('91). Michael
