To disrespect what I am and what I do not do. I once had a serious conversation with my ex-domme when she threatened to flog me for being insubordinate. I apologized for being horrible (I WAS being horrible) and asked forgiveness with much trepidation and crying...but I also told her I'd pack my bags if she humiliated or hurt me, given that she knew at the outset that was not my deal. We had an honest discussion and came out all the better for it.

For me, the worst thing would be humiliation or actual pain. But that's just how I'm wired.

There have been just a few times when my Master has been so upset with me, that He withdrew and detached. He says its because He needs to cool down enough so as not to say or do something hurtful. But honestly, that is the worst thing...withdrawal leaves me scared and lonely and i'd do anything in the world to connect with Him again, but don't know how. i'd rather have Him say something hurtful i think.

I'll have to second that, any punishment is short lived and afterwards he still loves me. I can not imagine me going through life without communication with my best friend. Even if he released me, and this has been discussed he would still love me as a person and our communication would not end. He still communicates on a friendly level with former submissives and I too communicate with a former Dom. He's my Dom first my friend second and although I would miss the Dom/sub interaction if I were released, I don't think I could ever handle not having him as a friend in my life.
